Delicious Portuguese food in a casual atmosphere

We had a very good and satisfying lunch of tasty garlic prawns, succulent grilled chicken, and beer. The atmosphere is casual and basic. The host led us through the front dining room, then through a corridor to dining room in the back. We drank Portguese Super Bock beer at the outdoor bar while... read more

Fernandos is a mandatory stop on any trip to Macau. We came here on a Friday night in May 2015 and were seated straight away. The only people waiting were large groups (more than 4). I ordered a little of everything (the pork, grilled sardines, Portuguese sausage) and enjoyed all of it. The pitcher of sangria is a good choice... More

Not worth the trip really, the little village that the restaurant is in is very quaint and if you are in this neck of the woods exploring Macau, by all means have lunch here, but I wouldn't make a trip out to this restaurant if its out of your way. Its pretty overpriced, more importantly the food is rather tasteless... More

Last time I was there was 5-6 years ago. Luckily I made a reservation by email, 2 weeks earlier, as I knew I would be waiting outside to get a table. Yes, this place is packed everyday! Ordered Roasted Suckling Pig, which was pretty good, Portuguese Chourizo and a Salad. My 2 other friends had a Roasted Veal and a... More

Fernando's is what it is, simple, consistent and friendly. Great for a weekend lunch. Parking can be a challenge, but once you arrive, things become efficient... Busy and fast service gets food and drinks to the table within a few minutes. Excellent fresh bread, try the tomato salad, which has a fabulous dressing and the Sangria which guarantees an afternoon... More

Fantastic meal - real traditional Portuguese village restaurant, great value for money. Very busy with inside area and al fresco dining, very popular with locals which is the sign of a good restaurant.

I guess it's not everyone's cup of tea but I like the place. It's a little worn and basic and dogs wandering around. Sardines are strong and salty the clams are big and juicy and the sauce is excellent. Quail was succulent and with lemon it was transformed. Ribs were average. Wine is local produce and again it's personal choice.... More

Fernandos was on our list based on rave reviews by other trip advisor members and anthony bordain. Although the venue is charming, I can't say the same about the staff. I can forgive the brusque attitude - most Macanese do not share the same concept of hospitality as other nationalities do. The food was just not good. We ordered a... More

The best roasted pork ever, it is located nearby the beach, no reservation is accepted, lucky we could get a nicee table. The sangria is tasty with fruity smell, the Portugese roasted pork is the best, we additional order 1 more because it was too yummy.

Always best to sit out the back especially after a drink in the courtyard. Great food, good service and setting at a reasonable price. I would especially recommend the seafood.
