Portuguese Style Food ...but thats where it ends. For many... I think people just go back for the food and don't worry about the rest of the place.. regardless of how run down this has become - a restaurant is not always Only about food. The Ladies Toilets - Disgusting - Filthy, unhygienic holes in the ground + 1x western... More

Far from the main busy tourist zones of Macau is this Portuguese restaurant tucked near a beach. No frills, no luxury features. Understandable because what they are selling here is the gastronomic experience. The food was very good and very delicious. Choices were vast and gives you authentic Portuguese taste. I have been to Portugal and the food here can... More

A very traditional Portuguese Restaurant. Situated right on the beach with a beautiful view of the sea. Easy to get to by taxi or public bus (there is a bus terminus at the beach). Food is good and the Portuguese wine is great. Worth a visit. Unfortunately, they don't take credit cards.

Located far from the casinos and noise, on the beach. Genuine portuguese food, cheeses, sausage, mussels, olives, bread, chicken. We tried most of the menu and all the dishes were cooked perfectly and had lovely flavors. Really recommend this place

Welcoming entrance and staff - be warned there is no ketchup, highchairs and it's cash only! You can wait 30 minutes for a table, however can sit outside in the garden enjoying sangria and chorizio - remember your mozzie spray! Food is cooked fresh and is very tasty!

The rumours are true. If you come to Macau you have to dine at Fernando's in Coloane. You might get lucky and get straight in (like we did on Friday night at peak hour 7:30pm, or you might find yourself at the bar waiting for a bit). The restaurant is deceptively big and always buzzing with conversation. Food is consistently... More

It's far from the usual tourist spots but it's beside a beach. Went at 12 noon on a weekday and the place was almost empty. Love the fried rice. Love the Portugese chorizo although I think some might find it too salty. Roasted suckling pig is also very good, very well cooked. It was hot though, no aircoon at noon... More

Strongly recommended this, we took a taxi from the Peninsular and arrived 6.30 with no problem to get a table. Food came quickly and was unremarkable but a fair price. I'm told the BBQ is good but we didn't have that. A nice outing. Pity you can't see the sea from the restaurant but the gardens are lush nearby.

This place is well worth the wait but you can strategize and minimize your wait time by either eating at 6pm or 8:30pm. But if you eat at 6pm, you risk getting leftovers from the night before. I recommend the clams, the squid, the shrimp, and the salad. The crab is good as well but you won't be able to... More

It is a very good place to eat fresh fish and frutti di mare. If you are just before noon, when they open, you will see many hungry people waiting patiently for restaurant to open. Do not worry - there is plenty place inside and you will be sited. And when you are sited and your meal is ordered, you... More
