We had black pasta with squid ink (Fidegua), the fidegua with vegetables, canarian potatoes, fried fish, bread with tomato and jamon serrano, tuna tartar, garlic shrimp, a couple of dishes more I dont remember and a very nice white wine. Most of it very good. I have had a better tuna tartar, but all in all a very good meal.

Was expecting really great things from the restaurant as it was highly recommended by the owner of the apartment. As I was travelling on my own, I really wanted to try the Paella made with squid ink but it is normally served for a minimum of two people. Asked on my first night if a single portion could be made,... More

Visiting the restaurant with my 9-year old son. I wanted to eat Paella, which was only for 2. The nice waiter made it possible for me to order, only for one, and even opened a bottle of wine, and only charged for what I drank. The food was tasty and service friendly and service minded, thanks to the male waiter.... More

Asbolutely important to book a reservation and to arrive before 7:30PM otherwise you have to wait potentially a long time before first course arrive. We got the carpaccio of fresh gambas; heaven on your plate!!! followed by the fish paella; wooowww what a great food. Coming certainly back!

We read reviews for this restaurant and headed there. It was empty! Nevertheless, we decided to sit down. We had a superb meal. Avocado with prawns and baked goats cheese to start, followed by marinaded tuna and monkfish. All were excellent. The waiters were attentive and while we ate the restaurant began to fill up with Spaniards. A lovely lunch... More

I have been staying in Peurto de Mogan for the last 2 weeks and this was my favorite place to eat. The octopus starter was fantastic and my veal steak brilliant. Slightly quirky service and the place seems to shut a little earlier than most but well worth a visit

I had never tried Paella before and I'm not the biggest fan of fish, but the seafood paella was so delicious, that I would definitely eat it again; shame its not served at home! The waiter/Owner was also very pleasant and friendly, and gave me a cork and bag to put the remainder of my bottle of wine in. worth... More

As a spaniard myself i was very pleasantly surprised with this place. They have a good menu and the food provided (we had 2 fish dishes) was super nice. We will come back and try their paella some other time. Not very often can one find such a nice place at the beach broadwalk! Recommended!

This starter is like nothing I have ever sampled in England; a carpaccio of shellfish, sliced transparently and dressed with monkfish caviar. Even their rivals say how good it is. It is a gourmet dish well worth the 13 euro price-tag, plus their signature paellas normally for two persons, which they obligingly made for a solo customer... what more can... More

We visited El Caldero for dinner as we had walked past a few times and i was attracted to the good selection of seafood available. We shared the smoked octopus to start with and my partner had steak and i had duck with mango sauce. The food was delicious, however there was no vegetables served with it, just potatoes. We...
