While sitting in the dining room you get a spectacular view of Georgia Strait. Staff were great. I decided to have Chief Martin's special breakfast. I was a homemade waffle stuffed with bacon, topped with two poached eggs. The eggs were topped with hollandaise sauce. There were also a few small cherry tomatoes. A few pieces of fresh fruit were... My husband and I came here for an impromptu night out. Service was great and the atmosphere was nice. HUGE markup on the wines was a bit disappointing. I had the nori wrapped salmon, which was good, but there was far too much sauce on it. Definitely ask for it light or on the side. My husband had the free... More

We were here for a friend's elopement wedding. We waited for about an hour before seating ourselves, being brought the incorrect event menu and generally having very poor service. It turned around after that as I believe it was brought to the attention of the restaurant. The food was delicious and I know my friend had a lovely wedding day... More

Went to have lunch and a beer with a buddy... Was nice to sit on the outside upper deck. Too bad they didn't put in the glass on the railings so you could enjoy the view as they did around the pool. The food was good... once it came... We ordered our beer first... The waitress decided to pour the... More

We have been going to this restaurant for 13 years (even when it was Lord Jim's). Management has changed many times. We took friends for an anniversary dinner and while the location is seductive the food was average and menu selection very limited and not that inventive. But the big disappointment was that there were simply not enough people to... More

We came here on a saturday night, for 2 people. I initially hesitated, as the reviews were mixed (either great or poor). My goal was to have a romantic dinner for two and I was ok splurging a bit more for a pleasant evening. In the end, themajority of good reviews with the great view finally convinced me to give... We had lunch at the resort and it was adequate. I ordered salmon cakes and they were more breading than salmon. My husband's salad looked and was good; he was pleased. Again a beautiful setting; it's hard to find a restaurant in the area that isn't on water.

We stayed at the resort for four days and only ate at the restaurant once, for breakfast. The menu is pricey. I ordered the eggs benedict. The english muffin was toasted and quite difficult to cut through. There was barely any hollandaise sauce and a very small piece of ham. The hash brown potatoes were barely warm. For the price... We had lunch and dinner at this restaurant. Food and service is great ! I really enjoy the seafood chowder and the salmon, just cooked to perfection. Price is quite reasonable. We are amazed that there is such a good place to go in quiet Halfmoon Bay!
