After we've spent 5 nights on Gili we realized that one of the best rated warungs was just across the street from our Bungalows (airbnb, Gili Guest House). So we went there for our last meal on this beautiful island as the only guests. We passed by this venue several times and hardly saw someone eating there but during low... More

We got to Warung Gili after passing it so many times everyday to and from our hotel. We tried it on one night and the food turned out to be very good and priced reasonably. It's pretty much a "local" place but frequented by a lot of backpacking tourists. Food was quick, tasty and definitely good value for money as... More

This warung is not by the seaside and seems local with lots of dishes to choose from. The food was soooo good! And the prices were very good value as you also get the rice with it. Juices were around 10 000 IDR. Delicious! Staff was super friendly.

We stumbled upon Warung Gili while wandering through the village. It's a standard good indonesian warung. Cheap, fresh, tastey food cooked while you wait. The chicken satay and peanut sauce was particularly amazing

Do not reconmend to visit this restaurant at night as you have to walk a really long, dark and narrow path to get there. We had so many mosquito bites from the walk. As the restaurant is rather deep in there is no sea breeze and it is very warm. Most of the BBQ items were not avaliable (not even... More

Went to this place after reading trip advisor reviews. Was a good solid place to eat and cheap. Reasonable range on the menu of tasty Indonesion dishes. Had meals at the Warung Kampung across the lane several times and actually found that to be better. For the price you can't go wrong!

We went here after seeing the reviews on trip advisor and it met all our expectations. For $9 for three of us including drinks it was one of the best meals I have had in Indonesia. We had Urap Urap and Chicken Satays. So friendly and everything was cooked from scratch while we waited.

This is a delicious local eatery inland from the touristy places on the beach. We ate there three times during a five day stay. The food was tasty and authentic and the price can't be beat. The food was fresh, plentiful and yummy. We had nasi goreng, mie goreng, gado gado and satay among a few other choices during our... More

Authentic warung round the back of the scallywag mango retreat. We have been meaning to eat here all week as it gets rave reviews on here...we finally got there today and I hate to say left feeling disappointed. Having eaten mie and nasi goreng pretty solidly for two weeks I had high hopes on both dishes topping the chart at... More

We tried Warung Gili based on the good reviews on Tripadvisor on our last night at Gili Air, and were disappointed that we didn't check out Tripadvisor earlier, we would have eaten there every night! Really delicious Indonesian food, and very cheap.
