We ate here last time 2 years, ago and I was very surprised to see the somewhat mixed reviews. We had a lovely meal. Good honest food in a fabulous setting and excellent value for money. His is very welcoming and was pretty full considering callow not that busy. We will always go on our annual trip to calloa as it... More

This was recommended as a good place to eat - we were all excited. As said a lovely location , but that is where it ends - firstly bread rolls served were so burnt they were inedible , the waiter noted we were picking them over and did change them. The mains were really disappointing - the hake special was... More

This restaurant was recommended by a local travel agent and we had high hopes for a good meal. The location (as long as you don't mind stairs) was great with dramatic views of the sea and a small outdoor area. The service was friendly and we were seated right away with no reservation. Unfortunately none of that could make up... More

We went early as we had a 21 month and a 30 month child with us. There were 9 of us for my birthday. The staff were great , really looked after us. We had a superb meal, would definitely go back. The views of the sunset were amazing. They brought me an ice cream with a sparkler.

we were persuaded to try this restaurant by the 'chucker inner'. although it closes at 10.30 as do a lot of the places by the promenade, owing to residential byelaws. We ate there twice, it is a bit of a walk and down a lot of steps. It overlooks the sea so i am sure the view is stunning, although... More

At the far end under the Hotel Atlantic via many steps, not suitable for wheel chairs. Overlooking the beach to the left and La Gomera to the right get a window seat for fantastic views and romantic sunset.we had a Chateaubriand cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth on our last of 4 visits, great chef ,previous meals lamb... El Delfin is situated at the end of La Lava - if you follow the sign and descend down several flights of steps you end up at the restaurant, near the base of the sea cliff. Not for the disabled! There were fantastic views, particularly if you can manage to sit out on the narrow balcony overlooking the sea. We... More

El Delfin is a little hideaway at the end of La Lava - if you follow the sign and descend down several flights of steps you end up at the restaurant, near the base of the sea cliff. You are greeted with fantastic views, particularly if they can fit you onto the narrow balcony overlooking the ocean. As others have... More

First visit ....and last. Beautiful situation overlooking the sea. Restaurant decor is a mish-mash of styles: part indian, lines of chaser lights and" busy " wallpaper. Very few diners and can understand why. Food was OK but expensive - 16 euros for 5 king prawns - everything came with string chips AND jacket potato, tinned veg. and wilted salad. If you... More

A fantastic place to sit with a drink as from the window seats you are right over the sea with impressive views of the beach and surrounding area. We all had fish and chips and we all agreed it was pretty bad. The batter was thick and stodgy, and the fish certainly wasn't fresh. Not cheap either. Definitely wouldn't go here... More
