Nice place and refurbished a bit. Ordered sirloin for both of us but we were disappointed with a realy tough piece of steak. Needs a better meat supplier. All the rest good but too pricey.

I wanted to give a good rating for this place, but not very good, so I plumped for the 3* instead. Why? There are many restaurants on this street in Callao Salvaje, but there isn't one where you would say " I have to go back there". The service is very friendly but the food is quite expensive for what... More

This was a return visit to a restaurant that we have used a number of times in recent years and gave them a good review on our previous visit a year ago. This year we were a little disappointed. The food is still very good, we both had the Sea Bream for the main course, mine was filleted and my... More

We went with our family. The menu was quite limited and on the day we went there was no sirloin steak that was a large part of the menu. The only steak was a fillet and I did think that it was expensive. We had a child with us and to be fair they did bring her meal quite quickly... More

We loved this restaurant. It is slightly more expensive than some of the others but the food was excellent. Book to make sure of a seat.

We usually dont choose our restuarants too carefully but once in a while we go for those recommended by other customers and for Callao Salvaje region El Ancia seemed to have a good rating. We werent disappointed either. We had steak and fish of the day. Both dishes had a local taste, something we always want to get. Main dishes... More

This is quite an expensive restaurant, but most of the reviews were good so we decided to try it. First the friendly service most people claim certainly must have had a day off ! I don't think I've ever been served by a more miserable waiter! We decided just to have the bread and dips which were really good value at... More
