El Ancla is the best restaurant in Tenerife. A relaxing, welcoming atmosphere and great views of the beach Ajabo to seduce all of your senses. An evening full of flavors accompanied of our house wine from La Rioja. We invite you to stop by our restaurant, located in the quiet area Callao Salvaje (Adeje).

Had a really good meal....not easy for a party of 7 plus a toddler

Party of 8 overall (including a toddler) and we were very well catered for. Staff were very attentive and food was enjoyed by all. 3 of us had the fish speciality which was cooked to perfection, 2 had steak (sublime apparently) and 2 had lasagne which was extremely tasty. The meal was finished... read more

We were drawn in by the board advertising the seafood platter and were not disappointed. Have visited twice during our holiday and no doubt will be back for a third time. Great for couples and families. Excellent food, fish and steaks sampled, desserts like you've never seen before. Staff all very friendly, helpful and happy.

Genuinely well-cooked fish and steaks. Lovely service. Recommended if you're looking for local Canarian cuisine. We'll be returning. "Feliz Navidad", El Ancla!

On our first evening in the area we had dinner at El Ancla. At this time of the year it seems to be a quiet place and we enjoyed a very attentive service, had nice starters and a fantastic grilled fish! Whilst it might appear to be a bit pricey at first sight, the quality of food and the experience... More

We visited after seeing the advert for the Mixed Seafood Platter for 2. It was tasty and plentiful. Friendly waitress and nice terrace.

El Ancla is always good and we have been coming for many years, it used to be called La Bodega but much of the menu has remained the same. The service is very good and very friendly. The appetiser of warm bread rolls, ali oli and sardine pate is delicious but it can fill you up a bit too much... More

See above!! Couldn't fault a thing and tastiest steak ever had the pleasure to eat. Plus the balcony setting and view were a bonus. Worth every penny!! 😋

We decided to try this restaurant after seeing it being refurbished back in May. We had a table on the terrace which overlooked the sea and it was a great spot. My 3 year old daughter chose the fillet steak off the children's menu and both myself and my husband also ordered the fillet steak. Well I can honestly say... More

We always pay at least one visit to El Ancla; the menu, though limited is of excellent quality. I would highlight the cream of vegetable soup and the moules mariniere. It's a little pricey but well worth a visit for these alone.

I would recommend the beautiful duck dish and there is a vegetable soup to die for ! Chef is excellent and the food whilst not cheap is of a very high quality. Georgina is also an excellent waitress who likes cats - so that's a plus for me !
