Visited this lovely place tonight...very dubious as very empty! (No idea why). Clearly people do not know what they are missing out on!...beautiful location, quality food, service next to none. Prices compared favourably with the cheap and nasty eateries which line the street before you find this gorgeous place. Ignore the "touts" trying to drag you into places such as... More

I cannot believe how quiet this place was for such lovely food and a perfect sea view. I would highly recommend the sea food mixed grill, the prices are very reasonably for such good quality fish that has been cooked to perfection, me and my partner came here twice we enjoyed it so much. Very romantic and relaxing, the waitress... More

We had a great meal here with delicious red wine, attentive service and a lovely view from the terrace of the sea, beach and cliffs. The fish we had was fresh and succulent and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Callao Salvaje. It was pretty empty when we went which seemed surprising. It is slightly more expensive than... More

What ever you think when you walk past, just try it. The best by far. Went twice and had steak one night and salmon the next. Both excellent. Discovered this restaurant late on our holiday but wished we had been earlier. Fab service, my husband broke two salt cellars one evening (??) and it was cleared with a smile.... Cointreau... More

Have had 9 days here, tried 7 restaurants but this is way above the rest. Yes it is slightly more expensive than some of the others but wow the food is excellent. Probably one of the best meals I have ever had. Fillet steak cooked perfectly, home made bread, all sauces home cooked. My wife had prawns and they were... More

Underwhelming from the outside but really nice food. Has an authentic feel, local chefs and waiters. Delicious warm bread and sauces 2 start. Good steaks, with some interesting sauces (not just peppercorn!) And some nice rioja's. Def worth an eat

Having walked past several times we decided to venture inside, where the decor was more homely. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was freshly prepared, well presented and delicious. Well worth a visit.

We have been coming here for 12 years and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and nothing... More
