We were in route to Rum Point and out for a leisure drive from our condo at Seven Mile Beach. A friend who had been to Grand Cayman couldn't remember the name but described this great little restaurant outside of town right on the water. We were glad we found it! Service was slow, as many restaurants are in GC.... More

We got hungry for lunch on our way to Rum Point and stopped at the sight of the lunch specials written on a chalkboard outside. Inside, there were only a few people and we picked a table in a small room all to ourselves overlooking the sea. What a view! Amazing. I had chicken stew, my son had fried snapper... More

We are locals (expats) and wanted to try something new towards the East End. we opted for South Coast. Although the balcony seating was tempting, once we saw the beachfront picnic tables with umbrellas, we knew that was what we wanted. Truly 5 feet from the water. I had very tasty and large conch fritters and the Lobster Breakers. This... More

We visited here over the Christmas break. When we walked in there where a few people sitting around the bar and as everyone turned to look I felt a little uncomfortable. There only appeared to be a couple of tables off to the side but we asked to be seated outside. For most of our meal, we were the only... More

We visited on the evening of New Years Day 2014. It was our first full day in Cayman and we wanted something reasonable at a fair price - we have already discovered Cayman isn't cheap! We had shortlisted 3 places near to our accommodation. South Coast won on their online menu choice. We sat near the kitchen on the balcony... More

Firstly I should say that the meal we ate at the South Coast bar & grill was very good, and good value too, but the whole experience is not so good. The service is slow and intermittent, we had to ask for water three times before it arrived. The "Outside " seating felt like we were in the car park,... More

My wife & I returned to South Coast Bar & Grill for dinner, since we had dined here in previous dive trips to Grand Cayman's East End. There were few people dining (off season here) & we dined on an outside patio. The wine list is very basic, the bread was warm & quite good. We both had conch chowder,... More

This is a small bar with a small dining room. I would suggest going during the day ,the doors are open on both sides of the bar which creates a great breeze that flows through the bar area. The view is great and there are three or four small tables outside if you choose. The food was fresh prepared in... More
