This is a cute place, but after Jamaican Jerked chicken.. this place is just ok. Still nice to try as I don't see a lot of jerked chicken in Cayman.

Had jerk chicken combo plate with rice and beans, potato salad, cucumber salad. Jerk chicken was very good, but more bones than meat. Jerk sauce side was very good. Paid $10 US for a large meal to go. I think the tourists may get the short end of the stick in meat selection versus the locals they feed everyday. Not... More

I ordered the jerk pork and literally 50% of my plate was chunks of fat. The rest of the plate was tasty, and the jerk sauce they give you was amazing. My husband had the jerk chicken and he said it was great.

Rankins is one of my wife and my favorite places to eat when in Grand Cayman. Located in Boddentown on the south end of the island, the food is relatively cheap and is delicious and authentic local style. The jerked chicken, oxtail, curried goat, etc. are all amazing and the portions are extremely generous. The sides are as good as... More

We stopped at Rankin's on our way from the airport to the North Side. The Jerk Centre sits prominently on the main road with easy access. We ordered the chicken and pork meals. The meals came with meat, rice, beans, plantains, and slaw if memory serves. The jerk was out of this world! Great spice, authentic taste and a lot... More

This place is close to where we were staying so we gave it a try. Food was simple but awesome. Do not be put off by how it looks. It is a very clean place with great staff and wonderful food. Besides the jerk try the Conch burger excellent.

Rankin's was my choice to grab a local plate of jerk while on the island - I wasn't disappointed. The large jerk plate offered a breast and thigh, rice and beans, slaw, and potatoes. It was a huge lunch and probably one of the best values we found on Grand Cayman. The walk-up window service was fast and friendly. I... More

We stopped at Rankin's Jerk Pit after a long day of travel. We picked up take out and brought back to Turtle Nest Inn to eat and get settled. We had the ribs along with chicken dinners. The food was delicious! Our meals came with chicken, rice and beans, and macaroni salad.

Visited Rankin's for lunch on our first day in Grand Cayman on our trip. Delicious food and resonable prices. It is not fast, as it seems most orders are cooked/assembled as they are ordered - so be patient. Staff was friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Judging by the fact there were plenty of locals that were getting take... More
