Easy stopping place if staying at Turtles Nest or other rentals in Bodden Town. We ate here once... fish and jerk chicken. Their festiva bread (spelling?) was really good. I'd say it was all average, nothing outstanding, just good and decently priced.

Delicious jerk chicken, oxtail, curry goat, etc. -- eat there at picnic tables or take it to go...IF you can stand the torture of the delicious smells in the car! Prices are reasonable for the island and the "small" (comes with rice and beans, cole slaw and a few fried plantains) is plenty for a full meal.

Great food, great prices, hit or miss service! Sometimes the service is friendly and efficient, sometimes not so much ;) However, the food will keep you coming back! The jerk chicken is very good: almost as good as what you get in Jamaica - close enough! If you're staying in a condo or with a kitchen- get the large order... More

After reading some of the other reviews for Rankin's, I'm assuming our experience wasn't typical. The woman who waited on us wasn't friendly AT ALL. In fact, we kind of got the feeling that they didn't want tourists there, only locals. She asked us what we wanted and then just walked away without saying anything. We hadn't even had a... More

We came here twice, enjoyed their food both times! Service is not the friendliest of the island, but the food is great. We had jerk chicken and also the jerk pork, totally great value for the amount you get.

We tried rankin's based on the positive reviews from Turtle Nest Inn and Tripadvisor and we were so thrilled! We went back 3 times! The oxtail, jerk chicken, curry chicken and curry goat were wonderful. Flavourful without being excessively salty. Generous portions and great prices. You order from a window and can eat there under a covered patio/picnic table or... More

Rankin's Jerk Pit just west of Boddentown is a great place for Cayman specialties such as jerk chicken and conch fritter at a reasonable price. The folks are friendly and the things we had were tasty. The day we were there for takeout they were a bit slow, as we ordered for 6 and they were already quite busy. This... More

On my most recent trip to Grand Cayman I was craving some authentic jerk chicken with rice and peas and I found it at Rankins! The chicken had just the right amount of spice and the rice and peas and vegetables that accompanied it were delicious as well. I will definitely be back for more on my next trip to... More

Great, reasonable priced local food. The oxtail was a bit bony but the jerk chicken is amazing here and the chicken quesadillas were also awesome. Would definitely come back. Looks like all food is locally raised and grown next door in their farm.

Rankin's is a must for lunch several times when in Cayman. The oxtail, goat, and lobster are my favorites. My kids kill for the chicken strips... Sure the seating out in the sun may not be for everyone, but then everyone carries out.
