Fresh french pastries, and other very good dishes. There is another new restaurant called Marianne in Santa Teresa :)

great place to enjoy snacks or lunch.and always leave room for desert. I love their sesame toasted shrimp on salad and smoked fresh tuna or marlin on salad. Friendly staff and all foods prepared to order. They always have something new and exciting to take home.....for later and or tomorrow. Can also call ahead for something special.

The cafe con leche is fabulous. The pastries are way too good to actually exist! Try their empanadas (could be chicken, veggies and incredibly savory cheese today - tomorrow?).

I just had a delicious coffee eclair and an omelette sandwich. The bakery is small but everything is delicious

Excellent ! Salé ou sucré, everything is simply good and very honest prices. French patisserie just like in the best boulangeries in Paris, or even better under the sun :) Savourous foods and adorable passionate french couple. When you stop at Cobano, impossible to miss it !!! Bravo Anne sophie & Germain.

I enjoyed the wholesome food prepared fresh. It was a nice stop along the way on our trip to the beaches on Nicoya Peninsula. It was hard to choose what to buy as all looked mouth-watering. Delicious quiche was easy to pack for our lunch on the road.

In the middle of Cobano is an unexpected treat - a French bakery & coffee shop! Truly delightful - excellent Costa Rican coffee made just the way you like it - hot, cold, au lait etc. Also the most delicious baked treats - tarts, cookies, quiche, and more. The owner, Sophia is a warm, interesting host - happy to sit... More

After the restaurant "Cafe & Azucar" closed some years ago, there were no place to eat first class quality. Luckily "El artesano del gusto" opened the door and filled the gap.Hope they grow enough as to move to a bigger place and as to open on saturdays.
