Loved it

We found this restaurant purely by accident when we moored our boat here. The view is stunning and the staff are so friendly. The food was simple rustic done perfectly. Fresh salads were a welcome change from pizza and pasta. Only down side is that it is quite pricey for what you get and also they... read more

This is all about theatre and the simply stunning view of the lake that you get while you dine. We chose to dine in the evening when it was a little cooler. Fine dining it is not and at 70 Euro per person I would not rate it good value for money (but neither is tea at the Ritz!). HOWEVER... More

If you want a one of a kind experience that will delight your palate for three hours, in one of the most beautiful surroundings in the world, come here for lunch or dinner! Located on Lake Como ( commonly called Lake Lario). Host abenvenuto Puricelli is a pure delight and the numerous courses served are as well. The homemade gelato... More

This place makes you travel back in time, in a strange way…. Was it the wine which is free flowing with your menu order, was it the old chalet resembling house in which the restaurant is situated, or the owner-host who has been doing the fire ritual for the last 40 or so years, I do not know, but all... I went with a large group. The food and experience were like nothing I've ever seen before. The champagne boat ride to the island restaurant was amazing and the restaurant's host was flawless. You really need to experience this when staying around Lake Como.

The food is simple and fresh, the service was great. A real experience and well worth it. A must if you're staying near by - we traveled by taxi from Tremezzo for €25 each way and then took the small shuttle boat across for €7 each. Makes for an expensive day, but thoroughly worth it.

An entertaining night. The menu is set a five course meal which is unchanged since 1947. The cost is 70 euros with an 8 euro boat fare. The food varies from standard to good I would mention the onions and the trout. I enjoyed every plate but my companions were less enthralled by the desert and some of the starter.... More

When I was first told that our management group would take a boat to our restaurant, I was excited! We were told on the way though, that historically, everyone that ate in this place, died horribly after!! Well, someone seemed to have lifted the curse and all is well. :) There is no menu, so do not be surprised when... More

If you are going to visit Lake Como you should try to put this on your itinerary. You must take a ferry which run quite frequently to this island. Once there you are greeted by an friendly wait staff who allow you to choose your seats. From this moment on you will be treated to some of the best food... More
