This restaurant's terrace and its location in the charming village of Brunate was probably the nicest one we experienced in our vacation. We had ravioli, beef tartar and cheese polenta. The food was ok but not as good as the atmosphere. Worth of visiting.

We stayed in Como and had read about this trattoria on Trip Advisor. You have to take the funicular up from Como and it is a short walk into the centre of Brunate to find it, but it is worth the making the effort. Anti pasti that include salami and pecorino and bresaola served with mushrooms preserved in oil were... More

This place is a little gem. Peaceful location away from the usual tourist haunts. I couldn't stop raving about the Stracotto and polenta!

This place is a gem located down a few flights of cobblestone stairs in the historic center of Brunate. While it doesn't overlook the lake, it's got a wisteria-covered outdoor seating area that looks out on the mountains. Quiet, peaceful, and a welcome retreat from the crowds on Lake Como. Beyond the location, the food here is top quality and... More

Everything was very good. They had the best Ravioli and service was very good. I love this place. But it could be nicer with some background music.

We found this quite by chance after two recommonded restaurants were closed. We arrived late for lunch but were welcomed. We explained that 4 of us, two from england and two from Australia, wanted to taste some different food so would order four dishes. Our host said no problem and proceeded to serve 4 individual servings of polenta followed by... More

We found this trattoria by chance (it is hidden, but it is worth it). Were so pleased that had lunch twice! Fabio, Marco & Mattia

Typical cousin from north of Italy perfect to combine with an Italian red wine. Prizes and services really good. Don't forget to try the starters!

One of the most precious moments in my many many travels around the world was spent along with three friends in this gem facing the wonderful landscape of Lake Como and surroundings. Everything was perfect! Polenta con lo stracotto and a lot of Valdobiadenne spumanti bottles.

We took the funicular up to Brunate for lunch. As is often the case its best to avoid the places where the crowds are. The search for this place was rewarded by what one presumes is an authentic Italian dining experience. All the food was superb yet simple. The restaurant was full so service was leisurely yet appropriate allowing us... More
