A steep walk from Argegno to Delish food!!

We walked up from Argegno to work up an appetite! The food was delicious. I had the wild bore ragu, highly recommended..! The service was amazing also. We felt part of the family.

Had lovely evening meal here after spending the day driving to Lugano. We were served by the chef who was lovely and explained all the food on the menu. It is all fresh seasonal ingredients and the food was delicious. We also had a lovely bottle of wine that was served at the perfect temperature. It's a little hidden away... More

We stayed at the hotel and also used the restaurant one night. The food was great and the service friendly. We waited a bit at the bar, as the restaurant had two parts inside. Choose the one room in the smaller part, as this seems the place where the Italians eat and it's much cozier and lively then then other.

We had a good family dinner up the hill overlooking Lake Como. My 3 kids and my dog enjoyed to play and around on the greens. The food was original and quite acceptable. The wine recommendation of the Chief was great. Overall a nice evening.

Had to respond to the last review from bcj9. My wife and I have been staying at la griglia for the last week. I can't speak highly enough of the hotel and in particular the staff and the food . The staff have been really friendly and helpful even though we speak no Italian and they speak limited English. The... More

I am so disappointed in this restaurant. We arrived before 7:00 for something to eat. A lady said food wasn't severed until 7:30 which was fine by us. We ordered a drink and the lady pointed to all the tables to gesture we could take are pick of seats. I don't speak Italian and I am well aware not everyone... More

This restaurant is not easy to get to - about a 7 minute drive up the mountain from Argegno or a 40 minute hike on foot - but it is more than worth the effort. It was the best meal l have had in the region and one of the best in all of Italy. Fresh ingredients, perfectly prepared and... More
