Went back to this wine bar for dinner after a positive experience for lunch the day before. The chef must have had the night off since the safron risotto arrived half cooked . They must have agreed when I left it uneaten, since it didn't appear on the bill and apologies were forthcoming. We will give this place another try... More

My partner and I had a lovely meal here which didn't break the bank. €56 for a litre carafe of wine, water, 2 antipasti, pizza and pappardelle is good in Cannobio. The quality of the food was very good also but we felt a little rushed, as if they wanted the table for the next set of diners and yes,... More

If you want to drink a great wine with your food, then this is the place. Good service, lovely interior, nice outside seating, delicious food. Always very busy so maybe it is better to reserve in advance in order to get a good table.

Associated with though not owned by Hotel Pironi, this restaurant was always busy - and the service and food excellent. Their sister bistro bar called Oggi Pasta is 30 seconds walk away and is equally wonderful

There are few places in the worlds where you can eat as good as in Italy. Vizi e Sfizi quality is really excellent, the "finesse" of the "cuisine" is commendable. The wines choices are also wonderful

We had the house label wine and it was very good. Again, another great restaurant in Italy that has very good recipes and great service. No matter what you eat or drink here, it will satisfy you. Salute

Friendly, helpful young staff and great food. We had tapas with a great wine the manager helped us select followed by a terrific selection of cheeses and the homemade mustards. Even though it was off-season, the restaurant filled up so you would be wise to make reservations.

Cannobio is - no question - a touristy little town and many of the restaurants seem to price accordingly. However, this place is a little bit off the main lake shore (under the Hotel Pironi) and seems more popular with the locals. The food is decent although not amazing, and the service is also nothing special. But you do get... More
