Very nice place run by local from sant antoni de calonge. Friendly staff, fresh tapas! Would definately prefer this over taverne iberica, as they were rude. But el gallego is one big melting pot of young and old who all have one passion: nice food at very affordable prices!

Agree with other posters that this is a very good tapas bar..........but it's not the best in Palamos. That title belongs to Bar Nicanor!

Great little tapas restaurant situated in the heart of Palamos. A great selection of hot and cold tapas, both on a menu, and also at the bar. All the food is reasonable priced, between 1-2 euros for each piece. A great selection of tapas - book, beef, chicken, croquettes, squid, anchovies, vegetables etc. Would definitely recommend.

I couldn't agree more with Marc. The tapas come as snacks at €1, and more complex or better quality nibbles at € 2 or 3.
