I have been several times to L'Arnsbourg. In the past, the restaurant was very good. Service and food was amazing. So good that I returned on several occasion. Each time, the experience decreased. This time, it was simply a disaster and the owner (wife) proofed to have the most arrogant attitude one can show to a guest. Arrival was ok... More

The choice for food is big, you can choose between four menus priced at approx €100/150/180/370 and a la carte. The €370 menu featured six-seven courses, all with caviar, but I went for the €180 eight course tasting menu. Highlights of the menu was langoustine carpaccio with caviar, lobster with carrot, and sea bass. I was a little dissapointmend with... More

After a series of outstanding amuses, highlights of our Menu Decouverte (174 Euro), included langoustine carpaccio, sea bass served with a chamomile vinaigrette and rasberries; and lobster infused with elderflower. Our only criticism was that desserts, although good, did not quite live up to the expectations engendered by the preceding courses. Service was close to being perfect. L'Arnsbourg is an... More

its in the depths of the countryside far from everything, very rural , but once you step inside everything changes. Modern decor, amazing view, excellent service and the food really is superb. We went for lunch , but it would be well worth staying overnight for dinner one evening. Its easily equal to what Paris has to offer - very... More

I already reported earlier about the superb food that we enjoyed over the last 6 years in this top restaurant but last week they again exceeded all my expectation with an incredible dessert based on asparagus. We followed this recommendation of the sommelier (!) and so we discovered another big dessert created by the chef and his chef patissier, Nicolas... More

L'Arnsbourg is a magnificent restaurant located in the Vosges forest, far from everything. The menu and the wine are in one word... exceptional!

many years I believed to know what is top delicious food. Travelling around the globe professionally and privately I continue to discover many very good dishes. Then I got a really perturbating experience enjoying twice a dinner at El Bulli, the fameous rstaurant of Ferran Adrian. He became my strong number one chef. But then I discovered L'Arnsbourg. Our first... More

Great place. We loved the Asian influence in the menu découverte. We thought this was the original part of the menu. The rest was very good indeed, but expected for this kind of restaurant. Service was flawless throughout the meal. Dessert was very good though a bit heavy after so many courses. The Apple dessert was outstanding but would have... More
