Very Good

Visited here last Sunday for a big-ish family get together for the first time. We had pre-ordered our meals and once sat down each course came out in a timely fashion, but it never felt rushed. Extra veg and gravy was just right and each of the 3 courses I had was spot on! The place as a really... read more

It was the second time we had eaten at Bod Erw. The main dishes were excellent but the chips were over cooked and burnt, too hard for my elderly parents. When a waiter came and asked if all was ok, my father told him that the chips were overdone. He replied by saying oh, sorry about that. After finishing our... More

The food here is excellent and very good value. The decor etc is lovely. However the real ale had gone sour, and the service was lacking. We spent ages without drinks and empty wine bottles. Trying to get coffees and sweets took an age. Such a shame as it has potential to be a fantastic venue.

We had our annual family meal at Bod Erw in January 2015. It was a very busy Saturday night but the service was excellent, and nicely paced We were given a section of the room at the back and it was perfect for nine of us. We all ate from the a la carte but that didn't heed the service.... More

Great meal tonight and as usual great service. Very busy but this does not affect the service or quality of the food. Top marks.

This is the first time I have visited Bod Erw ( 23/01/2015/) and will definitely be going back :-) . I don't think I have ever been to such a well run and organised restaurant for such a large party for a very very long time. Whoever the Manager is he/she should be very proud of all their staff as... More

Well located just off J8unction 27 of the A55. Good selection of food for our 2014 Christmas Dinner. Plenty of car parking and friendly staff.
