Excellent as always. Thank you Laura for your lovely welcome, smile and skilled service by yourself and waiters. A fabulous experience for my dining partner and I from beginning to leaving. The lamb was the star of the show- or were all the other courses?-hard to make a choice between. Chefs were exceptional in cooking skill and we were pleased... More

We have been visiting this restaurant for years as I have an elderly aunt who lives nearby and we try to get up to see her several times a year. It was so sad that the restaurant was flooded and this w/e was the first time we have been back since then. The food was always good and the staff... More

Lovely relaxed meal for Mothers day, superb portions (money well spent). Finally found somewhere local that knows how to produce an excellent Sunday lunch menu. Will be returning!

My daughter gave me and my partner a voucher for a taster menu at The Bridge for Christmas due to restrictions on the voucher we were not able to visit this restaurant until February 21st, but it was worth the wait. We were greeted by very pleasant staff and told there was a complimentary glass of wine available so we... More

I have eaten here before but I believe it has been refurbished after recent floods and is now owned by the proprietors of a local (upmarket) hotel. There were five of us (one a non-meat -eater) . There wasn't a huge choice and the prices were on the high side for this area, but I prefer a restaurant to do... More

Me and a group of five friends decided that this looked like a nice place to eat, having been here myself a few times in the past I recommended that we have some food here, it turns out that I made myself look like a fool. we went in and were greeted by a very friendly young lady who showed... Beautiful decor, friendly attentive but not obsequious staff and the food was absolutely gorgeous. We had 3 different courses each and all were beautifully presented and faultless, The only negative was when the bill arrived and we were overcharged by more than £50 for 3 bottles of desert wine which I'm sure was a genuine mistake and was rectified with... Arrived at 7.25pm for 7.30 table, were given time to have a drink and peruse the menu deciding our order before being shown to our table- all in a relaxed manner. Habitual sharing of food for each 2X courses was not a problem for Laura and her team of waiters-on who were excellent under our testing requests and slow eating.... More

Outstanding Sunday lunch today each course was superfluous with generous servings and very attentive but intrusive staff, with a lovely relaxed atmosphere, can't wait to go again.
