We have eaten here when the place was a fine dining experience and it is now totally different. But as a family we had four tasty meals, great service and super value. Do not expect fancy food, but it was freshly made and good. Some work to do as the interior is very classy so plastic menus etc look a... More

Dropped in on our way back home after a holiday. Easy access off the A55 and easy parking in the public car park adjacent. The menu is not expansive but for a quick lunch with 2 small kids its all good for a little treat - various burgers, steaks etc. Burgers flame grilled very nicely. Kids meals great value -... More

Long gone are the days of The Bridge. Please bring it back! The work Laura and Mark did in creating a wonderful dining experience has been wiped out in a blink of an eye. If you like eating out in your local Kebab shop this is your venue. I had the burger which has repeated on me more often than... More

Having read the reviews of the Bridge we thought we would try the City Grill. Whilst the minimalist decor is clean its very cold and lacks any personality. Whilst we were there there we only 5 other people and by the time we finished we were the only couple on the ground floor .Another couple arrived just a we were... More

The bridge is now known as the City Grill. Offering value for money food to eat in or take out. Not sure about the neon sign or how well this reincarnation will do!

Excellent as always. Thank you Laura for your lovely welcome, smile and skilled service by yourself and waiters. A fabulous experience for my dining partner and I from beginning to leaving. The lamb was the star of the show- or were all the other courses?-hard to make a choice between. Chefs were exceptional in cooking skill and we were pleased... More

We have been visiting this restaurant for years as I have an elderly aunt who lives nearby and we try to get up to see her several times a year. It was so sad that the restaurant was flooded and this w/e was the first time we have been back since then. The food was always good and the staff... More

Lovely relaxed meal for Mothers day, superb portions (money well spent). Finally found somewhere local that knows how to produce an excellent Sunday lunch menu. Will be returning!

My daughter gave me and my partner a voucher for a taster menu at The Bridge for Christmas due to restrictions on the voucher we were not able to visit this restaurant until February 21st, but it was worth the wait. We were greeted by very pleasant staff and told there was a complimentary glass of wine available so we... More

I have eaten here before but I believe it has been refurbished after recent floods and is now owned by the proprietors of a local (upmarket) hotel. There were five of us (one a non-meat -eater) . There wasn't a huge choice and the prices were on the high side for this area, but I prefer a restaurant to do... More
