Good Choice

Excellent location for dinner but wasn't so impressed with the menu of the day. Good selection on menu and the house wine was excellent value at only 4.90 euros per litre.

This restaurant is an absolute gem. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. The local house wine is only 4 euros.a litre and Is very drinkable. Try the pork tongue in tomatoe sauce and capers , it was lovely.

We went for lunch. The bread was dry, we had to ask for new bread. The salad for the omelette was poor: can corn of bad quality. The salad of the house was with 3 scrimps and rice with std. 1000 islands but the worst was an avocado which was brown. We asked for a new and first the waiter... More

Had a beautiful lunch at a very reasonable price and returned for dinner the following night. Paella was absolutely beautiful and decided not to eat anywhere else as the food and wine are delicious and a great price.

Small, family owned restaurant over looking the port at Porto Petro. Friendly staff with helpful approach to making tourists comfortable. Food is sourced locally so go for the fresh fish.

I have always known that in order to find a nice restaurant, it is better if you ask to local people. It was a very good recommendation, the prices are reasonable and the food was delicious. We ordered a "Dorada" and it was yummy =) Besides the service was excellent, we had a chat with the waiter and he also... More

We ate at La Caracola on a number of occasions during our stay in Porto Petro, and can't fault it for a cheap lunch or tea. To be able to buy a meal for less than 5€ in a location such as this is surely value for money. The drinks are also reasonably priced so I'd recommend this place for... More

I believe this is the La Caracola in Puerto Petro near Santanyi. Keep away from expensive and rather average steaks and go for tasty local stuff like the stuffed squid. Very cheap options if on a budget, lots under €5. Best of all is the lunchtime menu del dia, three corses with wine and water for €7.50. Had a noodle... More
