We chose this place based on other reviews and weren't disappointed. The dishes we tried had some really interesting flavour combinations, especially the fillet of sardine and orange carpaccio. Portions were good sized and so we didn't manage dessert, although I would make a point of this in future as the options on display looked amazing. The service was good,... More

Passionate English speaking owner with cooking well above the ordinary- and well above anything else we came across in the area. Outstanding quality/price ratio. We wish this place well, and hope it does good business. Very highly recommended indeed. Good wine too!

My wife and I enjoyed all the dishes we ordered- cabrales cheese with walnuts and apples, black pudding, and suckling pig. All was wonderful, and we were served by the very kind owner, who is truly passionate about his restaurant. Well done, chef!

The hotel recommended this place. The service is one of the best I have ever had, staff is super charming and basically they enjoy seeing you enjoying their food and the place. The food has best in class raw materials and the cooking was excellent. It is great seeing honest people running a restaurant. Price is good too!!

What a delicious meal! We were a group of four and shared some dishes together. My favourite one was the smoked sardines with sweet onion relish and thinly cut oranges. Total taste sensation! Not only was the food good but the waiters were all so friendly and really took their time explaining the different dishes to us. It's a must... More

We were staying quite close to this restaurant, and had seen good reviews on TA so decided to try it out. In a rather English way we were first there in the evening at 8:30 (our excuse is that we were tired and hungry after walking all day!). Anyway all the staff were polite and helpful, and the interior of... More

The service in this restaurant is absolutely excellent, and the restaurant itself very nice. The food was good but we were not sure about the Solomillo. We should have sent it back to cook more, 'medium' meant simply seared. The texture also seemed odd to us. The local cider is aerated rather than poured from a great height and only... More

This restaurant has a very nice interior, really cozy. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful. The chart is a real Asturian one. The starters where great, we had some tapas, nice flavors. The main dishes were poor, I just expected more than meat with only French fries. The steak of my friend came with no sauce, we had... More

thank you trip advisor for helping us decide on this restaurant for a last meal whilst on holiday. It was as other people had reviewed very friendly, staff were able to converse freely in English and explained the menu clearly, advised on one starter between two of us, very good. We would definitely eat here again if we returned to... More

We were in El Molin de la Pedrera during our long weekend in Picos da Europa. We were pleased with great food and a fantastic service... while taking some fresh air outside the restaurant, me and my wife were surprised by an offer... a bottle of champagne offered by the restaurant. Thanks Angel! Next time in Cangas de Onis we'll... More
