Confirmation of the quality in Eymet

We have eaten in the restaurant several times and always enjoy the food. The service is a little too relaxed for us I had one of the specialities which is stuffed cabbage which is delicious and I adore it. My wife had a wonderfully cooked piece of beef with a superb rich jus. The depth of... read more

Arrived in Eymet and having read previous reviews we opted to dine here. We had no prior booking but there appeared to be only two tables occupied at 12.30. However, we were advised it was not possible to accommodate us. Was this because they were expecting a coach party? Or could it be because we were a party including a... More

This restaurant is good because of the hosts. The restaurant has a very limited menu for vegetarians (which would normally get it only 3 stars) but the bent over backwards to serve a very good 3 course vegetarian dinner 'on the fly' ( which gets them back to 4 stars). If you're a meat eater, you'll love everything about it... More

Went for dinner and whilst the courtyard of the title looked the place to eat - very attractive and atmospheric - her who should be obeyed felt it a little too chilly to remain outside , despite the ample heaters, so we opted for the (rather dull) interior. The welcome from the chef-patron is lively cheery so we soon got... More

We called here on the recommendation of the owners of our holiday house in Allemans du Dropt France, George and Wendy. They told us it was worth a visit. We had not booked but it was not too busy at lunchtime. We decided to have the menu du jour at €19. Two courses, either starter and main or main and... More

Three of us went here on a Saturday for lunch. All of us had something different to eat, but I tasted some of each. Everything had that little special something that took it beyond the ordinary and I would definitely like to go back again. I tasted the salmon, chicken and pate first courses. All were interesting and different from... More

Had lunch here today. Owner very friendly and attentive. We had €25 menu. We either had prawns or salmon, smoked in restaurant kitchen. I then had a beautiful pink duck breast with sautéed potatoes and mixed seasonal vegetables, very tender and delicious. Other two members had a lamb casserole, again beautiful. All had a mixed summer fruits with cream and... More

My daughter advised me to try this restaurant (we were babysitting her ten month old twins). She was 100% spot on! For a small town, a classy restaurant like this was a real find. The food was outstanding and represented great value for money while the recommended wine wine was superb. Looking forward to our next visit.

I've written previous reviews praising the fabulous food and the excellent service we enjoy at La Cour and when we visited in July for lunch with relatives who were visiting from the UK the food and service was as great as always. Whilst there our son was taken ill. The owner took him to a quiet room and whilst he... More
