The weather was rubbish so we thought we needed a nice long lunch. This restaurant ticked the box perfectly. We didn't book but we found a table in a side room. The staff were friendly and happy to explain the menu. The set Lunch menu for €22 was both excellent value and delicious. We will definitely return again, hopefully the... More

We love this place and eat every time we visit Eymet. The food and service are exceptional. During our last visit for lunch the chef / proprietor came out and explained the menu to us fully along with his personal recommendations which really offered that special touch. The staff and management of this place are just perfect, this coupled with... More

A real gem and a chance find recommended by a local taxi driver. We had a super relaxed meal and were taken care of by the lovely waitresses. The food was the best we had in our holiday. The chef came out to speak with us which was also nice. Would highly recommend.

Contrary to the previous reviews we spent a delightful evening here with attentive service, helpful explanations of the menu by the proprietor (in French and English) and fantastic food. Our family party of four enjoyed gambas fried in a light batter with a salad with walnut oil dressing to start followed by cod, cabbage stuffed with foie gras and beautifully... More

Booked in advance for 12 and arrived at 7.30pm. Chef/owner told us the menu in French which none of us understood, which took 30 minutes, especially with no menu. Two of use order drinks while the others had to wait an hour for wine. We eventually ordered with great entrees (superb), main course meat tough, desserts good. I had arranged... More

Our party of eight arrived, and we were shown to our table, and then ignored for some considerable time, the chef owner? did come to our table and proceeded to extol the virtue of his food, but as we had not seen a menu he was wasting his,and our time. Menu's did arrive and the prices took my breath away. anyway along story... More

What a wonderful little restaurant courtyard, lovely surroundings and beautifully set tables. We went for the 3 course menu of the day for €29, fabulous! The kids had slightly smaller servings (for which we were only charged €20)and the wonderful lady in charge was happy 2 alter the course options 2 accommodate the kids! All in all we felt it... More

We we're looking for a place to eat dinner within easy distance of Chateau Vigiers and saw this restaurant recommended by both this site's reviewers and by Michelin. We weren't disappointed. We ate in the pretty courtyard and were welcomed by the chef owner himself who talked us through the menu. The food was excellent, the wine was a simple... More

Came with the family for dinner. Had an enjoyable evening but the service didn't quite match the excellent food. Arrived on time and decided to head straight to our table. Given menus, then had to wait about 25 minutes to be offered drinks. Wasn't too impressed by the service initially and not made to feel welcome. However things started to... More

I've eaten at worse star rated restaurants and we had an incredible value for money lunch here. Chose the €28 Gourmand over the €22 and well worth the extra. Chef and his wife lovely and despite the searing heat of the day it was easily the highlight of our restaurant visits in the area - we will definitely go back.... More
