A nice place

This place is under new management since our last visit. We only had coffee this time but wished we had been able to sample their fish menu. It remains a nice place to sit and have a coffee and watch the world go past. I will certainly try the fish when we next return to Eymet.

Kismet is now a French styled café serving typical French meals as well as the usual coffee etc. The meals are fish orientated which is somewhat of a change from the normal in this area. Not being a lover of fish, I cannot give an honest review of the quality other than to say the menu looks good, interesting, seems... More

1st trip to Eymet so had no idea where to try for lunch but the special of the day in this restaurant was a lovely sounding fish dish so we opted for that and really glad we did. We had only the main course and the complimentary dishes but it was all excellent. The menu board had some really nice... More

We came across this little bistro by chance, looking for a light lunch of preferably fish (I don't eat meat and so the plats du jour in this area are mostly not for me). What a great find. Firstly amazing to find a place specialising in fish. Even better, the food was utterly delicious. My risotto with gambas is one... More

I've only ever had a drink and a panini here but I have never been disappointed. With free wifi this is a great little Internet cafe. Everyone is friendly and there's a lovely atmosphere.

We visited here - for the second time - yesterday and had a hot chocolate avec crème. This is an experience that you must have, creamy rich with little sprinkles on top. Next wee we will dine there but we saw meals coming to the tables and from what we saw and smelled it was great food too. I recommend... More

We called here as we had heard it was a fish restaurant and were impressed. We each had the dish of the day which was a very large piece of sea bream and five scallops with vegetables. It was lovely, tasty, well presented and really a big meal. No room for dessert though the choice was between creme brûlée, bakewell... More

A small, friendly restaurant with a menu of just a few excellent fish dishes imaginatively prepared with fresh produce from a local supplier and beautifully presented.

This former cafe has been bought by a local fish monger family who now do one dish of the day, fish of course, and a limited range of panini type snacks. I lunched there during the week with visiting family and very much enjoyed beautifully cooked fish and attractively presented vegetables. On the negative side, there were no starters offered, although... More
