Located near the centre it is a great small restaurant with typical local food. The sea food was fresh and well prepared, the hosts were typically relaxed and not very formal, the price was very good. Great place for casual dinner with friends or fammily.

The place was recommended to us by a local worker who said: "I don't have the money to eat at the restaurant but if I did - that would've been the place". And how right was he! Expensive, but worth every penny and more! The best, the freshest fish I have eaten in a long time (and I am very... More

We had friendly and helpful service. We went on the look of the premises and how popular it was when we went past. We had no internet so research where to eat, but fell upon this gem! The food was delicious, a treat just how it should be. Well done.

Probaly the best taverna food I have ever had. Nothing particularly innovative but it was all fresh, excellently prepared and perfectly satisfying. Went there twice in a row as nothing could beat it. The grilled octapus was the softest I've ver tried. Greek taverna fodo at its best.

We've walked past this restaurant so many times whilst staying at the Bella Venezia hotel just up the road and have always carried on walking into town, simply because It is so close that it didn't really feel like an evening out to go there. However, this year we decided to give it a try and we could kick ourselves... More

Recommeded to us by our hotel, and they were not wrong. Local seafood and regional dishes, with very helpful service. My wife especially likes fish, and she was able to discuss what local fish was available that day and how it would be served. We felt it was a real find, and enjoyed it so much we went back twice... The owner seemed friendly, she took my mother in to the kitchen to show her what seafood was on the menu. She recommended the sea bass, calamari and squid, which we ended up ordering. The total bill ended up coming to 159 euro. They charged us 78 euro (60 euro per kg) for the sea bass and also charged us... More

You know when the waiter (who was also the owner) takes you INTO the kitchen to show you the selection of fish they have on offer that you're in for a good meal. Such friendly, attentive service is what made our meal (I went with my g/friend) such a treat, on the last day of our holiday as well. The... More
