We stopped here for a bite to eat while on a day trip to Corfu. The Olive Tree is a very lovely Taverna in a scenic setting in the Town Hall Square. Family owned with a comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff who spoke English well and gave us a warm welcome. Each dish was explained in great detail and with... More

Great food, reasonable prices. Friendly service. There are lots of places to choose from to eat in this area, but give this one a try and you wont be disappointed!

The baked feta stood out with amazing flavours and still bubbling from the oven, flavoursome tomato and onion salad was so tasty, and accompanied by fresh bread, saganaki, courgette balls, tzatziki - we didn't make it to the mains! The house wine was the perfect accompaniment and the setting and atmosphere made for a lovely memorable night with friends.

This restaurant is located in a very beautiful lively square. The choice of food is good, but mostly standard choices as in most other restaurants in Corfu town. The only negative part, was the service. They seemed to be overwhelmed by full restaurant and it took them quite long to serve us. So be prepared for that and enjoy the... More

Having waited for an hour and a half for our main course (which consisted of 2 pastas and 2 salads) we were left with what can only be described as a feeling of dissatisfaction! When our meal finally arrived the salad consisted of simply an iceberg lettuce and a quarter of a tomato! Well worth the wait haha! We were... More

We stopped here for a late breakfast and enjoyed some delicious panini and omelettes. Nice staff, very attentive although a clear hierarchy with an older lady being quite bossy and rude to the young serving women which made me a little uncomfortable, but very good food and atmosphere all the same. The soups looked good and I would return for... More

We were walking back from the old town to our hotel, The Arcadian and we stopped for a quick thirst quencher at one of the small tables directly outside the Olive Tree. As we sat back and started to people watch as you do, we got a friendly vibe from all the waiting staff attending to dinners in the main... More

Eat here on our last night of a fantastic holiday. Have so enjoyed the Greek food. This looks a lovely restaurant but the food was just awful. A meat dish that must have been microwaved but was still cold from the freezer. A piza that looked pale and anaemic. The only good thing to say was they didn't charge for... More

We stayed in Arcadion and Olive tree was just around the corner, one block to the left. First time we wanted just to take coffe at about 22.30 but ended with salad and grilled octopus. BTW, it was not easy to find place with fresh octopus on Corfu town. We sat outside but near the building, table for 2. Waiter... More
