Went to this restaurant after reading the reviews on this site. The setting is very good, but the food was only poor to average. There are a couple of restaurants a few paces up the hill that are much better.

Nice looking little restaurant, nice staff who are very helpful and pleasant but food a little ordinary and noisy skateboarders are a distraction
We were wandering around Old Corfu Town looking for somewhere to have a meal. We came across this place and it looked pleasant enough. It was light when we got there and as it got dark the place looked lovely all lit up and candles on the tables. There was a window and through it we could see the woman...

Went with two friends for an early evening meal. Decided on the Olive Tree after the square had been recommended as having a good selection of reasonably priced restaurants with lovely food. the lamb kleftiko which I had, was fab as was the choice of rocket salad with shaved parmesan and pine nuts. My friends also enjoyed their choices too....

Found this small restaurant in the old town while on a yachting holiday. We five had starters and the Kleftiko that was superb. Service was excellent with the waiter talking us through the wines and olive oils on offer. Perhaps a little pricey at €110 for the 5 of us (starters, main, coffee, wine and water) but well worth it...

The food was tasty - we had a stuffed tomato with rice, gilled octopus, greek salad and, of course, ouzo! It was delicious! The location is also very comfortable - in a cosy square. The big greek companies sitting close to us were a bit noisy, but we got used to them.
Prices were coparable to other nearby taverns. For...

We have eaten at the Olive Tree several times and have NEVER had a bad meal. The food has been great and the staff friendly and helpful.
We went there on our last day before flying back home.
The setting was quite cozy and it looked beautiful at night.
Although the restaurant itself was not that big, we found a place to sit outside.
The service guys and gals took care of our orders quickly, even though there was a group of 24 people which arrived right...

THE first time we went here we had pasta with chicken and broccoli which was véry tasty! Red housewine is excellent too. We went back here for the quality food and tried the bourdetto and soffrito (traditional Corfu) food. Both were excellent again. Genuinely friendly staff. Normal prices. Worth your visit!
The restaurant is situated in the Town Square, a beautiful setting, eating al fresco. Interesting buildings to look at, listen to the Corfiot grannies chatting and the incessant noise of skateboarders in the square.
Venice style street lamps supply poor lighting for your meal.
My wife ordered her safe bet, pasta and I tried the beefsteak.
I wasn't asked how...
