My favourite memory of Corfu is of eating at Mouragia at dusk, with swallows flitting around, while a few boats sail past. This restaurant reflects the best of Corfiot food & hospitality. The appetisers are made with the lightest touch; we started with cheese & aubergine dips and courgette & tomato fritters. (NB: other reviews say tomato balls) Eaten with... More

We met a Polish gentleman in our hotel and he asked us to join him for lunch before he headed back to the airport. He wanted us to visit his favourite Taverna. That was Mouragia. We ordered Greek salad, politikki, fresh sardines, shrimp stagnaki, calamari and "garlic bread". We were informed before we ordered what fish was fresh and what... More

This place has great food and a terrific view. We all had delicious meals. The Moussaka is delicious and the fish was wonderful as well. It came with a fresh salad and a desert. The prices were really reasonable and the service was great.

Have visited this restaurant for many years and have seen its popularity grow. Great food served by nice people and a lovely view thrown in. The shrimps, prawns, tomato balls are great as is the calamari, the homemade bread and dips...I could go on and on. Will definitely go when I am in Corfu again.

Such a lovely place... We have been here so many times now, and the consistency and quality of the food is really great. Maria is a star in the kitchen!

Just outside the main part of Corfu town but certainly worth the walk. The food and service are very good and good value for money. Nice to sit outside and watch the boats and ferries passing by, put some of the pricier places in the old town to shame.

We discovered this restaurant by accident while exploring Corfu Town during the day. A couple of restaurants nearby had better views of the sea and harbour but this one was full, mostly with Greek and Italian patrons. We had a light lunch but the mouth-watering plates of seafood and whitebait being served to nearby tables meant we returned the next... More

There are a couple of restaurants near by that attract mostly the tourists for the splendid view to the Corfu Bay. Mouragia enjoy a lesser view and the customers are all local. The quality of the food served is outstanding. Fresh ingredients professionally prepared and served by very friendly and genuine staff. The size of the servings are for the... More
