Steady quality

10 years after first eating at this great restaurant, nothing has changed. Great food, good prices and good people. Nice to see that some really appreciate quality and keep it going. Strongly recommended.

Recommended to us by a friend. We checked out Mouragia after watching the clay pots get smashed over Greek Easter. The place was busy but the food was great, portions huge, service decent and price cheap. We tried Greek salad, spinach pie, cheese pie, courgette fritters, gyros, burgers, and saganaki. Add in drinks and the whole huge meal was about... More

We had appetizers and drinks at this restaurant. The cheese and spinach pies were delicious. I ordered both expecting 2 small pies and I received 6 rather large triangles. I saw several people order the mixed grill and it was a plate stacked tall with different meats. I would try this restaurant again!

small fish taverna on Arseniou which had been noted but not more on a few trips by; local knowledge said try it, one of the best and on the basis of our meal it was; delicious crispy anchovies followed by plump juicy mussels in a lemon & white wine broth. fresh local bread to mop up & very acceptable house... Fantastic views, lovely location, great food, friendly service with a smile. We had chosen set menu - politiki and greek salad to start with followed by lovely meatballs and oven baked spaghetti. All very yummy! Shame no room left for a pudding. Highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed everything about our meal at Mouragia - perfectly cooked food, friendly unobtrusive service, good value (especially the set menu at lunch), and sea view. It is on the waterfront at the end of the Old Town. It looks quite modest, as it is set back a few yards, across the street from a row of more touristy restaurants... More

From the friendly service to the fantastic food this place should not be missed. Away from the main area of Corfu town the prices suddenly dropped and we found ourselves a little hungry for some delicious, authentic Greek food. We were not disappointed when we sat down at Mouragia. Be warned, make sure you're hungry, the servings are huge. My... More

My favourite memory of Corfu is of eating at Mouragia at dusk, with swallows flitting around, while a few boats sail past. This restaurant reflects the best of Corfiot food & hospitality. The appetisers are made with the lightest touch; we started with cheese & aubergine dips and courgette & tomato fritters. (NB: other reviews say tomato balls) Eaten with... More

We met a Polish gentleman in our hotel and he asked us to join him for lunch before he headed back to the airport. He wanted us to visit his favourite Taverna. That was Mouragia. We ordered Greek salad, politikki, fresh sardines, shrimp stagnaki, calamari and "garlic bread". We were informed before we ordered what fish was fresh and what... More
