Ate lunch at the Rouvas our first day in Corfu. The servings were generous so it was easy to share dishes. The service was prompt. Not in the tourist section so not trying to lure you into their restaurant. The food was good although not exceptional. We would certainly eat there again.

This is an exelent restaurant that has traditional greek food to a reasonable price. They have loveley things like the baked feta with sesam and honey and you can rely that everything is absolutly fresh. Only a pitty that the are not onen in the evenings for dinner. I would have visited them more often. But go for lunch you... More

Near Marks and Spencers you will find a Corfu gem, Rouvas run by 2 brothers is one of the best places to stop for lunch. So good that the local Greeks eat there , and food can be bought and taken / delivered to the customers. Excellent prices for tasty real Corfu food, made fresh every day. The brothers are... More

Visited here for lunch and had a delicious and relaxed lunch of moussaka and beef stew, both of which had deep rich flavours, excellently spiced with generous portions but still made you want to come back for more!

I keep on coming back here whenever I'm in Corfu town. If you like real Greek food then you won't be disappointed. Try the Galious Brordetto cod. It's a Corfian speciality, slightly spicy cooked in the oven. I've sailed around Greece for nigh on 30yrs, & know how to rate a good nosh !! No disappointments here. Average prices, not... More

One of the best meals we had in our trip. Proper-made Greek food, reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. More than filling quantities and the best quality. The food is cooked daily and therefore it's fresh and home-made style. The waiters were very friendly as well. We'll definitely revisit.

It was beautiful experience to eat in the place that ovners and waiters treat you not like a tourist. The food was very tasty, value for money. And the ovners (the same time waiters) are really Greeks - honest, strong, friendly but and te same time uncompromising. And very charming :) It was the best choice to eat in Corfu... More

Not only is the food and atmosphere really Greek and not touristy, it was a real bonus to chat to the kitchen staff and learn some of the secrets of the tasty dishes we had. A real bonus has been that back home, from simple feta with herbs and olive oil in a really good bread, homemade tzatziki, to steak... More

Have visited many times. This is an authentic Greek restaurant serving many quality dishes. There is no compromise made for the tourist market. This is proper Greek food which is unmatched by the tourist restaurants. We recently visited the Sousta restaurant near Bristol. The food there is a joke (and not a funny one for the price paid) compared to... More
