This is an iconic restaurant in Mykonos and I remember my first dinner there in 1983. It was terrific to go back a couple of months ago and dine there and see that it's just as fantastic now as it was 31 years ago. The owner is a wonderful lady named Elsa who is extremely friendly and lots of fun.... More

It's been a little over two months since we were wending our way around Mykonos' shopping district and, luckily for us, chanced across Lotus Restaurant on a Tuesday evening. This cozy restaurant is so charming and inviting we just knew it was the right place when we spotted it. We didn't have reservations so were quite delighted when Elsa said... More

We just got back from our trip in Mykonos. We found theLotus trough Trip Advisor, and we were not disappointent. The place is a hidden gem, with abeautiful roof of greans. They told us the tree is 40 years, and so is the restaurant, run by the same family. Very friendly service, and a menu with lots of choices, with mostly traditional Greek food My friend had... More

Tiny central restaurant managed by foreigners (?). From outside it looks quaint with its big bouganvillae tree for roof. Food is not as good as I thought and the area is very busy, not serene. I had better experiences in the island. We were not impressed by the zucchini moussaka.

First visited Lotus 25 years ago and have been back several times over the years. Still does a great job, and still run by the same couple. Nice location in town, good for people watching, and decent quality food at a reasonable price.

I'm going to agree with the poor reviews on here, and it's such a shame. We came earlier in the evening and were the first to arrive. Waiting staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming, bad night? Starters came out quickly but it got worse from there. I ordered moussaka which took a long time to arrive and was luke... More

Great food, if you like liver, I can recommend it or anything else on the menu. Elsa and her crew are very friendly and you get good service. A wonderful place for dinner or just to enjoy a drink. I will be back next year!

The place is hidden inside the city, very interesting and beautiful design. The ceiling is covered with flowers and decorations. Service is very professional and the waiters are polite. A bit pricey but if you want a quiet romantic dinner, it's definitely the place!

I DID NOT GO TO ANY OTHER RESTAURANT!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOTUS... Not just the amazing food, but the staff, like family, have become part of me... Elsa is an amazing cook. go there ask for the mushroom delight for starters. FOOD FROM HEAVEN! even a mere potato is a delight to my very judgmental palate. OMG EVERYTHING IS... More

I go each year to Mykonos and discovered Lotus only last year. I can easily say that now it's my favourite restaurant in the city. The place is lovely, charming, relaxed... The food is excellent, plenty of choices, greek food of course (the moussaka is excellent) but also some Asian inspired dishes like the chicken curry with peanuts which is... More
