Extremely popular and crowded restaurant,

This local restaurant is situated a little way from the main waterfront and does not have a sea view or sea breeze. However the food ( much of it being traditional dishes) is awsome and the seafood so fresh and beautifully presented. The restaurant was very crowded and noisy the night we visited... read more

If you are looking for Fresh Seafood, Niko always has it. I have visited Mykonos over a period of 25+ years and every time I am there I have to stop for a bite. Great table wine, great seafood and many Greek delights. Located just steps from the old port and around the corner from Little Venice, this is a... More

We enjoyed our dining experience at Niko's. Huge menu with a great selection. It was crowded but the staff was very attentive and worked hard. I had minestrone soup that was excellent and filling- big portion. The seafood was great too. The atmosphere and location are perfect for people watching and enjoying Little Venice area. I'd definitely eat here again... More

We came across a lot of touristy, rip off restaurants in Mykonos but this one does not disappoint! There is no waterfront view, but everything we ordered was wonderful. Be sure to swing around the little dessert section so you can see the desserts before ordering. Also, because the restaurant is always super busy, dont expect great service as the... More

Our group of 4 stopped at Niko's after reading some great reviews and we were not disappointed. The seafood was beautifully cooked and the sea urchin soup was exceptional. Fresh from the sea, prepared on the day and served with a smile (the waiter had to double check that I knew what I had ordered!). The service was attentive without... More

Niko's Taverna close to fishing port is a tradition in Mykonos. Not exactly sure why, but everybody knows it! It doesn't have a sea view and it's definitely not a fine dining, reduced space between tables, noisy, tireless no frills waiters (but very quick). Not the best restaurant on the island, but it's a must if you are looking for... More

After a morning spent travelling to various beaches on the island we were more than ready for lunch. The taverna served great food! Quick service! Very friendly!

We found the food to be very good and reasonably priced. It is difficult to find that combination in Mykonos Town so we ended up eating here twice. That says something. The service was good and the food was also good. I didn't say great but good enough to visit a second time.

Mykonos Town was packed full the evening we visited and Nikos Taverna was one of the few options that was able to seat us. Make no mistake, this is a busy taverna aimed fairly and squarely at the tourist visting Mykonos. However, the food was ok, and the prices fair for Mykonos Town. Considering how busy it was, service was... More
