Love this Epitome of a Greek Taverna

Easy and beautiful, tucked in the winding alleys of Myconos Town. Still easy to find from the old port. Tried the Myconos style cheese (they told us spicy, I would say strong describes it better) Free wifi, just ask for the password. A great place to rest your feet and people watch.

After a walking / bus tour of the island, we went back to the heart of Mykonos Town and visited Niko's for lunch. The lamb souvlaki was perfect, the roe was gently chilled and awesome on the homemade bread and the Niko's salad hit the spot 😎

Uninspired. Bland. TV dinner bad. Dog food bad. Think I'm kidding? Do more homework, and try not to stumble upon this place and be fooled by the scene like we did. I wish I had a time machine.

For a taste of real good Greek food for a decent price you can't go wrong with nikos. The menu is vast and accommodating to all tastes. Although very busy, the servers were very attentive and kept checking in with us. The Only downside is that the restaurant is on the pelican of Mykonos' daily evening walk and half way... More

Brilliant food and service. This was the best food we had all week and ate there twice. As well as the range and great service we got to see Petros the pelican as well!

Nikos Taverna was recommended to us by two independent local Mykonians. The house wine was outstandingly good. The huge baked stuffed calamari contained rice, capers and pine nuts with heavenly flavouring tinged with cinnamon. The mixed fish was fresh and beautifully cooked. No space for dessert.

This taverna is just behind the old port in Mykonos. The taverna looks fairly traditional with tables simply decorated with red and white tablecloths. This place is always very busy and I do understand why. Prices are not too high, the quality of food is very good and service is fast. The only downside is the fact that because is... More

I've been here three times since 2009. They really know how to service people for a great dining experience. The waiters all haven I tablets to place order and literally run back and forth to make sure you are served quickly. The food an atmosphere is better than any place in Mykonos.

We had dinner at Nico' s Taverna during our stay in Mykonos. Nico's is obviously a long standing local eatery. The tables are set up in an alleyway close to the old port of Chora, Mykonos. The service is prompt and the choice from the menu includes all the expected local delicacies at a reasonable price. This Taverna will give... More
