It is a very nice place, situated behind the Town Hall; I ate moussaka, I saw the pelican passing near me. The staff is friendly and fast. The menu is rich enough. I found here sea urchin roe (some rare and expensive specialty than I wanted to try from long time). The taste is not very good but worth to... More

Lovely location, great when the Mykonos pelican walks past! But there it ends. Overpriced tourist taverna, My souvlaki was good and the accompanying salad was good. My friend had the chicken souvlakia and all as ok until the last three bits - raw in the middle. He showed the waiter and who couldn't give a stuff. We thought at least... More

After avoiding this place for years( my friend) we went here. This is in the middle of the town and is packed with tourists. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was not so good with an exception, the tzatziki was very good( almost the best i have had. The fried squid where good but a bit chewy, lacked lots... More

Had lunch here while on a shore excursion. We sat next to a Greek lady who lives in the US and she recommended what to eat. We had grilled calamari, baked vegetables in garlic tomato sauce, and baked white beans in tomato sauce. All selections were excellent, and the grilled calamari was exquisite. The service was quick even though it... More

The food here is very good, and this was to be a 5* review...UNTIL we got our bill. First-time tourists to Greece beware: It is standard practice for [many] restaurants to present bread and bottled water on you being seated. This is (usually) NOT free-of-charge. IF you want this...great. If you don't, then send it away...but DO CHECK YOUR BILL,... More

Recommended to us by a local, not really out of the way, while no view of the sea, but not in the usual "tourist" area. Food was very good, portions generous, friendly staff, crowded. Had the hummas(quite good), eggplant, greek salad, and stuffed tomatoes were all tasty. Reasonably priced.

This is another one that looks like a tourist trap, but do not be deceived by appearances. The food is very good, it is reasonably priced (particularly given it is so close to the iconic Paraportiani Church) and the service is very efficient. There are lots of tables in this place and you just do not have to "wait" for... More

It was very busy so it we understood thst they forgot to place my husband's order of veal with pasta. I had the tarama which was ok, the... More

Recommended by a local. The meal was of good quality, delivered quickly and by friendly wait staff. The price for both the meal and wine was very reasonable. This is good Greek food - behind the Town Hall, so no view of the sea. The meal and service makes up for this. This restaurant is worth a visit if you... More

I had been at Niko's two years ago and returned this year. Food was still very good. I had a kleftiko which is slow cooked lamb in aluminum foil with vegetables and feta cheese. I loved it. Even though the place was very busy we got a table quickly and service was very efficient and friendly. It's an institution in... More
