Struggled to find truly good food in mykonos and stumbled on this by chance. Nothing bad to say about this typically unassuming place with just good food and great greek hospitality. Don't eat in the town - you will be fleeced. This place ten minutes walk and you May need to book at night but will... read more

We saw the reviews on the Telegraph prior to our arrival at the Mykonos and decided to give it a try as we want to explore different beaches across the island. The restaurant is very simple, clean and with some retro decorations. Not to mention the sea view is gorgeous as it is between the two caps. We swam in... More

The young waitress's found it hard to cope with a full house and the owner wasn't that hospitable ,though I might add the setting was lovely on the beach and the food, when it finally came was nice.Maybe it was just one of those days

We ate at Joanna's three times while we were staying in Mykonos as it was opposite our hotel, served brilliant Greek cuisine and had the most delightful uninterrupted views of the sunset with the gentle waves only a matter of metres from our table. Joanna was so welcoming, friendly and down to earth that we were truly sad to be... More

Almost like having a private beach with a hand full of stretches. Clean. Nice mood people, Greek hospitality at the next level. Good food, just a few people there at lunch time, nice chat the the owners lady's, good music on the speakers. We plan to have dinner there, as our hotel was at walking distance up hill. I’m sure... We visited this place for dinner . The location is just perfect - on the beach. It is a lovely feel to hear the waves break gently while you are busy eating. The staff is courteous and caring. The food is home made and fresh. Quite a few options for vegetarians.

Of the three nights we stayed in Mykonos, we ended up eating here twice due to its location to our hotel and exceptional food, services and prices. Right on the beach we were able to watch the sunset while we shared a jug of house wine and enjoyed traditional Greek food – fish, moussaka, calamari and plenty of saganaki and... More

Not sure what the decline was about but the meal was lovely. We assured them we would vacate the table quickly when the restaurant filled up-- but they wouldn't bring the check or the change! We must remember to leave the city rush behind and relax! The ended our meal with Ouzu. A nice touch.

Dining at the water's edge is always fun and Joanna's Nikos Place is no exception. Have gone to the restaurant many times in recent years and usually always have a great experience. The atmosphere is good but can be a little hectic at times. Have never had anything but good and fresh food at a reasonable price. Only complaint is... More
