We were a little hesitant based on some of the recent reviews but we were pleasantly surprised about how wonderful this place was. Great location on the beach and food was delicious and very filling. Hosts were welcoming and friendly. No complaints at all!!

Great inexpensive food, both Greek and non, literally on the beach with free sun loungers, and Joanna is lovely

As a group of 4, we ate here twice. Great atmosphere, lovely food, friendly service and beautiful sunsets. Seafood croquettes are delicious, warm pitta n dip a must. Also the grilled sardines and the fried egg plant n courgettes to die for. Main courses a good size, hot n tasty. I had a plate of grilled prawns yummy!!! We had... More

When we arrived the greeting was luke warm and the waitress told us we had not made a reservation. When she found the booking on her sheet there was no apology. The starters were truly grim. The bruschetta was sadly and simply the worst I have ever had... The cheese pie was cold and tasteless. The main courses were better... More

The food here isn't bad, the atmosphere wasn't either, but the prices were reasonable and the staff personable. Are there better restaurants in Mykonos, probably yes. But for the location and food it was ok.

What a wonderful place ...not just a really good restaurant with a wonderful menu but one of the few authentic Greek experiences left in what has become a very chic Island...just a short walk from the centre of town this little gem is everything you could want a quiet beachside setting with magnificent sunsets...Traditional Greek music on Tuesday evenings...Perfect for... I stayed at the hotel just a short walk from Nikos. I was there enjoying my honeymoon and was so happy to be conveniently located next to this classic gem of a restaurant. We are usually a couple that love exploring new restaurants but after a couple tourists trap disappointments in Mikonos, we found ourselves going to Nikos 3 times... More

This taverna is right on the water's edge - perfectly for watching the fantastic sunsets. Joanna was the perfect host, advising us what to eat etc. We did make bookings on several evenings but they didn't seem to exist when we got there so reports of a strange booking system are true! They always tried to find room for us... More

Maybe this place is good compared to other tourist traps, but compared to other places we ate in Greece (with help of TA reviews) the food wasn't that good: fava beans were dry (olive oil I might have corrected that with was not of decent quality), hummus and tzatziki were okay, eggplant special was tasty except dried rosemary in it...
