Great atmosphere, really friendly staff and fantastic food.

Wish we had found this gem earlier in our holiday. Place is so atmospheric and the staff were really friendly that they made waiting 10-15 mins for a table a pleasure. We went to Maereio based upon recommendations from our concierge. This place is located in town and finding the place was not easy, but a nice lady (a painter from the States who has lived in Mykonos for 55 years) saw that were were lost and offered to help us find it. We probably would not have found it on... More

If you want to enjoy local, traditional cuisine in Mykonos this is the place to visit. It does not take reservations and is usually quite busy, so you might wait a bit (we waited for about half an hour) - however you can enjoy your drink while waiting outside in the alley. The food is really tasty; feel free to... More

Good typical Greece cuisine. The menu is not huge but still enough choice to cover all tastes. Not easy to find but worth the search. You might have to wait a bit to sit as the place is pretty small and does not take reservations

You can visit this place to have dinner really late. We left at 24.00 and there were people coming to have diner. While waiting you can enjoy your drink sitting outside the small ally ways!!! Really nice experience.

Greek food here was amazing, some of the best traditional food we had on the island. The service was good. You may need to wait when it's busy as you cannot book but it will be worth the wait. Not fine dining, instead very nice traditional restaurant.

We were lucky enough to be seated outside, which was very nice as you could look down the beautiful street and watch people go by. The highlight of our meal was definitely the meatballs! Not sure how Greek meatballs and fries are, but it was delicious nonetheless. We also ordered the sausages but they were nothing special. Greek salad was... More

This is an amazing restaurant in Mykonos. Mykonos town is a maze of typical tourist restaurants...some very over priced, some very underwhelming. To Maereio is neither of those, it is amazing value and spectacular food. Two brothers run the show here and they are extremely hospitable. The food is nothing like any of the typical greek dishes that you find... More

Definetly overrated. Nicely decorated small restaurant but i honestly was expecting more. They serve greek cuisine, but 15-16 euros for only a piece of chicken and rice is too much. Not worth it.
