Dark cozy little restaurant with great greek comfort food. Portions are very generous. Loved the wonderful, attentive staff. Clientele was both touristic and local. They take no reservations, but it's well worth the wait with a glass of wine. Loved the mykonian cheese and spicy louza. Rusk with spicy cheese and tomatoes are not to be missed (my favorite of... A very small place, with very average food and overpriced for the quality offered. Friendly stuff but just that.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and it was exactly what we were hoping for. Excellent quality Greek food, good prices and a cozy atmosphere. The meatballs were delicious and very light and everything had great flavor. Lovely service too!

If you want an authentic greek food experience this is the place to visit. We went on a quiet night but sat outside as inside there were smokers which is the only downside to this place. Food is traditional greek like your at a greek family's house. We had a greek salad to start and for main I had lamb... More

Always full, better to book as the restaurant is small. Great Greek traditional food. Had veal and pork. Tasty dessert. Great attention! Go for it!

Our bellboy recommended this spot and somehow gave us directions. So did the guy that owns the super high end jewelry store whose lived here his whole life and told me the lady who cooks here was his friend. That pretty much sums it up folks - gem. Very few tables, expect to wait. The menu seemed a little bland... More

I love Greece and I love Greek food. But in heavily touristic places such as Mykonos, good traditional Greek food is hard to find. But not at To Maereio - a tiny restaurant in the middle of town which seats no more than 20 people with a small bar for the overflow. Warm, cosy, dark, simple yet rich, friendly, happy,... More

Perfect quant little Taverna in the middle of town. Blink and you'll miss it! Opposite a grocery store - that when this closes they use the footpath for more tables after 9pm. The food was traditional, the music Greek, the atmosphere local and cost cheap!! Our hotel recommended it as we wanted traditional Greek food and atmosphere and that's exactly... More

Don't go expecting gourmet food and a long European dinner. The food is authentic and they have a very limited number of tables so they "turn" them quickly. You might wait 30 minutes for your check in a big expensive restaurant in mykonos.. but 3 or 4 here. Zucchini balls and chicken with mushrooms were great..

Not the cheapest in Mykonos, but very well run, excellent food and wine, and we gathered highly regarded by locals who patronize it all year round. Others have said it all.
