Nice location, not so nice restau

Rude personell, VERY overpriced food, tables very close to each other. Also they brought us plates that we did not order, plus a mistake to the check (to their favour) The kitchen among the dirtiest I have seen..so were the rest rooms. Very dissapointing..

There are many things that can make a restaurant a terrible place to have lunch but only a very few places manage to tick most boxes. Let's see what boxes this place checked: - Music far too loud even for an outdoor seating place. I mean I had to shout to the person next to me. - Virtually no service.... More

If you are looking for a comfortable beach bed, great down to earth food and attentive stuff, the only place to go in Mykonos is Solymar beach & restaurant. We loved the barmen this year: best ever drinks in the whole island. Mango Mohito is our favourite..

This is not a good beach restaurant. The location may be very beautiful, but in trying to imitate Nammos, the music goes loud and everyone is meant to be dancing and shouting. Having said that, the food is acceptable and the fish is good, but there are so many better options one should not go for this place.

We were so glad we made the effort to visit Solymar. It is quite a journey from town, but worth the trip. The restaurant is right on the beach and sheltered from the winds of Kalo Livadi. The food was fantastic and prices were reasonable considering the quality and service.

Have some drinks, dance on the tables, and just enjoy life. A perfect place for enjoying an afternoon! We went there 2 days and the food was excellent. The staff was friendly and the music gets you up on your feet!

Was with music industry friends from NYC to hear David Morales play @solymar. First we stopped by the DJ booth to say hello to David. The owners assistant ( some vulgar peasant it would seem) continually pushed against me trying to move me and my friends away from the booth. Additionally she barked at me and threw her hands at... The food is OK, the service is good. Nice place for spendong one day and relaxing in the beach. No party place at all. The food is expensive for the quality that they give you.
