Pleasant evening with good service

The restaurant was nice enough and the food ( steak and fish) was of good quality. There were clearly some regulars and it was busy enough, but not that exciting.

My wife and I had visited the restaurant earlier in the week and had been impressed all round and so we decided to make this our venue for our last night in Tenerife. Although the food was of a very high quality the service was wanting. I'm not saying the service was bad as ours seemed acceptable but clearly they... More

The restaurant was busy when I arrived but I had booked a table. I was shown to it after some quizzical looks that suggested surprise that it was "just" a table for one. It took quite a while for my order to be taken and thereafter the service was brusque and cursory. A pity because my tuna tartar was good... More

This place looks out on to Playa El Duque and is part of a group of restaurants towards the end of the seafront walk there. The food is rather good, I had their braised beef and the Mrs their lasagna which were excellent. The staff tolerated and entertained our very tired son while we ate and I would definitely eat... We made a reservation based on the magazine "Tenerife Mi Gusto", convinced by "the best in quality and service ". At the table we were asked if we would have water to drink. We had to ask if we could have apero like a gin-tonic for example ? No card (?!) but a sommation of a lot of gins and... More

We went to La Nonna restaurant last night with our children . Our portion sizes were the same size as the children's , one meal was cold and one we believe was cooked with butter although we d asked for it not to be . On sending our food back the manager did not utter one word of apology and... More

We didn't book but we were seated inside which was ok as it wasn't too warm outside. Service was good. We were set to order when waiter suggested we try a special dish that was a delicious Seafood Salad. Sounded great as a starter so we both choose this. We had pork & beef for mains. The starters arrived, looked... More

A really nice location that becomes more atmospheric as the night draws in. Food is really excellent with a good selection of children's food owing to the fact that they can draw on the menus of the other restaurants which are all owned by the same guy. Service is great.

Great service, lovely food and wine. Good choice outside normal Italian fare, recommend sea bass and beef casserole. Tables are not on top of each other and there is nice music from an adjoining bar
