Like some other reviewers we have walked past here many times over the past 3 years What a mistake. Excellent food at reasonable prices. We also found the hosts friendly and helpful. We spent a month in Lanzarote in Feb/Mar 2015 and this was the only restaurant we were interested in returning to.

as good as ever, still not as busy as it should be but the food quality is still excellent and the hosts are still as laid back and charming as ever. It's great for lunch but even better for dinner. You will leave feeling relaxed and satisfied which is what you should always get but too often does not happen... More

My husband and I called in for a drink on the way back from a wander to the sea as we were staying locally. I spotted the high Tripadvisor rating on the wall so we came back a couple of days later for the fixed price lunch. It was simple, beautifully cooked food and excellent value! The surrounding area is... More

We have been visiting this restaurant for a few years now. Owner not particularly welcoming and food (which was not cheap) average.

Very friendly, easy-going French restaurant with a 'menu of the day' that cannot be beaten at 8.5 Euros. Give it a go; you will not be disappointed

At first, restaurant El Marinero doesn't look much from the outside. Unlike most tourists traps on "the strip", it doesn't have bright lights, flashy colors nor loud music. But what you lose in "entertainment", you win big time with a very friendly service, tasty food, and very reasonable prices. The holy trinity of restaurant business. This little joint is run... My boyfriend had the iberico cured meats followed by seabass and I had the sizzling prawns and mixed fish platter. They were all very tasty and fresh. We were also given olives, breadsticks etc aswell. We didnt opt for dessert instead having... More

Very enjoyable any time of the day - coffee - lunch - dinner. Good food reasonably priced. A comfortable French bistro feeling
