We stopped close by to the Purple Turtle and eat/socialised there on three occasions in our weeks stop. Staff very friendly. Pub food really, but very well cooked and presented. Good value and choice. Beers , wines and spirits also well priced. Good coverage of UK sport if that's your thing! The only small criticism was that the music was... More

Went here after reading the reviews. It was a long way out from where we stayed in the new town, but was definitely worth it. Straight away we had menus brought over and drinks were with us in no time. The free pool was a big bonus and is a big reason as to why we returned three times. Great... More

It's not on the main strip of Puerto del carmen but it's worth a trip up for the view and breakfast alone, all British produce and a really nice lady running it who makes you feel welcome and glad you came to them,if you only have one English breakfast out there make it this one

Best brekkie by far also what lovely staff! Very helpful to us on our last day ! Stayed at la Florida and they decided to shut reception at 1pm so what to do with luggage? The turtle kindly looked after them for us ! Well worth a visit good food service and always a smile !

We went to the purple turtle every morning for breakfast and they are lovely, from the full English to the bacon or sausage roll. The staff are fantastic. Its lovely to sit on the sun terrace with a beer and watch the world go by. We will definitely be back........
