I've eaten here for 20 years now, tapas only, haven't tried the set meals as tapas so good, and it's still a favourite. Never had a bad meal. Prices have went up a bit in that time but then havent they everywhere... We have a glass of house white or rose which are not bad, and pick our favourite tapas... More

Second visit to Puerto del Carmen, each time we spend nights sampling different restuarants and always come back to this one. Love the range of fish tapas, the experience of selecting your own fresh fish and the simple straightforward cooking methods. I think the staff are effective and friendly and don't pong of lynx or anything else.I don't understand the offensive remarks... More

Visit everytime we are in Lanzarote. The tapas selection is very good and the position down by the harbour is very interesting where the locals sit and chat and watch the world go by.Be back soon.

The waiter offered lots of advice and recomended a local white wine which was nice. We also ordered a large bottle of water as it was a typical warm Lanzarote evening. All good so far. We shared a starter of Iberian ham which was ok, as expected. For main, we had a mixed fish and medallion of pork. The pork... More

Just come back from All Inclusive in Playa Blanca, and as we did last year, we called off here for our evening meal on the way to the airport. The car park across the road is the first thing that is good as it is near and it is free! Once we got in the restaurant, the staff invited us... More

Just returned from 3 weeks on the island and 3 visits to La Lonja. We eat out every night and although La Lonja's speciality is fish (try their Paella) I had the best fillet steak of the whole holiday!!! Large restaurant, ideal for families and couples alike. Staff are friendly, given the limited English of some of them - but... More

My family and I came here on our last day in Lanzarote so we were hoping for a treat. We had seen on trip advisor that it was recommended so we thought we would give it a go. Our first problem was that our waiter stunk of B.O. Our waiter then recommended that we get fish that in english means... More

We were looking for some nice tapas so used trip advisor as our guide. After reading the reviews about this place it sounded well worth a try. I ate here on 18th July we got a nice table outside. We were shown inside to look at the tapas and choose what we wanted. It was any six tapas dishes for... More

We just loved the selection of fish tapas and especially the little anchovies with garlic. Neither of us is mad on fish but here we made an exception. The selection, the amazing value prices and the lovely staff kept us coming back for more. Three times in just one week. And the local wines were superb, especially the whites. We... More
