La Luna has become my favorite place in Zaventem. Run by 2 genuine Italian men, very friendly atmosphere, great traditional food and excellent wines. I always make guests try the Bressaola and as main course do the Scaloppina, in various ways (alla romana, gorgonzola, etc). Red wine, try the Rosso Piceno, wonderful wine at bargain price

This nice little Italian restaurant set-up in a former pub at the outskirts of Zaventem is run by two persons. One takes care of the orders and serving food and drinks and the other one is running the kitchen and will stop by your table at the end of the shift to check if you were satisfied by his cooking.... Don't be turned down by the looks of the restaurant. Once inside you will be welcomed warmly by the personnel. There is a good number of daily suggestions on top of a classical italian menu. I had scaloppine parmigiana which were just great. Prices are average to high, but the extra couple of euros are certainly worth it.

The good reviews for La Luna are well earned. Don't get misled by the humble outside, a small old typical Belgian café with an Italian touch. The food is great, well spiced and for a reasonable price. It is not gastronomical, but an excellent choice of plain food: scampi, escalope, .. no pizza's. The house wine is only 13 €... More

We heard a lot about this restaurant and yesterday we finally went there. It was one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. There are only 2 people working there, the chef and the waiter. It's hard to describe, but they are SO friendly. We had to wait some time for the meals, but I don't think... More

Thanks to Trip Advisor I found this little restaurant which I would have never come across otherwise. It is a real gem and the Italian food is just fabulous. The Zabaglione was probably the best I have ever tasted. From the outside you would hardly know it was a restaurant but inside it is warm and welcoming. The service is... More

I lived in Rome for 12 months and I will tell you this is pretty good for not being in Italy. Awesome chef and owner who come out and talk to you. The place is filled with locals. The owner will explain the menu and specials to you in English. Try the tiramisu and Irish coffee! Excellent value!

I've been here for a business dinner. Actually the location is pretty nice and comfortable, but I'm Italian and I can tell that the food was not bad, but not real Italian one... We had 3 different pastas in the same dish: lasagna, too big and with too much cheese, tortellini with cream and ham, too cooked, and a cannellone... More

The food here is amazing!! Mario is a master, try the suggestions! The deco is very inspired by the name of the restaurant, and the lovely, funny, friendly waiter could use some help on busy days, as it can get a bit too busy for him alone, but everything else is top notch. If I would just walk by the... More
