Three of us were looked after exceptionally well by chencho and Sonia (brother and sister) in late November. Chencho is a sommelier who has won sommelier of the year in 2011 and it shows. I went to La Masia de Chencho a few days ago. I visited Elche with my partner and the recommended us this restaurant. The experience was fantastic. If you like good and unusual food, this is a good place to go. Away from the tourist routes, this restaurant is mainly visited by Spaniards that are willing to spend a little extra money for excellent food in very pleasant surroundings and with excellent service.
