Thomas Green proved a perfect venue for a mid-winter business meeting. The real log fire was a special treat. The most pleasant surprise was the food. An innovative menu of excellently executed dishes ... well done Thomas Green!

Out walking on Mother's Day & stopped with a group which included children. It was very busy but we could sit outside - tho of course that is also the smoking area & you may have to put up with smoke.

Spent two weeks fishing in Gore and this was so nice to sit back and relax after a great meal when we had been out on the river all day. Great decor, meals are great, though a light eaters meal would help, and a great range of Scottish and Irish malt whiskeys. Lovely, cheery waitresses always with a smile. Stuart... More

Bit expensive for what you get. Service average. Great decor though. Shame that the meals aren't as good as Howl at the Moon.

We decided as a family to celebrate my oldest sons 40th birthday in Gore and Thomas Green stood out as a option. We were lucky as i booked ahead of time to soruce the board room that seated about 22 of us. The room was great with roadside view and historical pictures and info to be read at ones leisure.... We had our Valentine's Day dinner here. Wide wine list and excellent food. I had the Serloin and husband the lamb rack. Steak was tender and had an outstanding flavor. Lamb was cooked a bit more than ordered but was tender and a wonderful flavor. I had my favorite dessert..a chocolate potted pudding with mint and mint icecream.

Dining with 4 kids, there was a long wait for food, and service was slow, but lovely food made up for that..

Called in for a dinner for 4 one night after the races. Were greeted by a very 'sour' Irish waitress. She clearly didn't want to be there, hated her job or both. I have travelled a lot in my life and other than Paris, have never experienced such rudeness. We didn't get a single smile. She told us our meals... More
