This restaurant is hard to find, but it is woth the way! The big terrasse is a wonderful place to sit and look into the nature. The food is very good and the prices are not very high. Indeed for us it was quite cheap. The wine was excellent also. The only thing I complain, was the service, which was... More

We come to Verona once a year & have dinner out with our friends. We make them drive us here (they love it too). My husband always pays for the 4 of us, but its usually the cost we pay elsewhere for 2! Every dish (the desserts are fab also) is outstanding. As others have written, the homemade bread is... More

Have spent almost two weeks in the Verona area and have received some pretty poor service in restaurants, but this one is a gem. The food was second to none in the area, attention to detail in both food and service could not be faulted. I have eaten in many Michelin starred restaurants and this one is up there with... More

It is mix of traditional Italian couisine with fresh, modern way. Short menu, not very expensive: starters 5-8€, main dishes 10€. Good list of local wines, including Soave and Amarone. I recomended: tortelini ragu and ravioli with weal in Amarone souce and deserts!

I have been to this very nice restaurant twice and I love the place. Very nice staff, good menu, not too big portions (but still a ton of food) and beautiful dishes. As a starter you get their homemade bread with cured ham and for every table they bake their own fresh bread - typically I think 2-3 varieties of... More

We were lost, we were hot, we were very hungry! Riding down a winding country road looking for a place to have lunch, we spotted this lovely vision on the hill. An outdoor terrace with a waiter in white apron. We skidded to a stop, turned around, and discovered this jewel of a trattoria. Not much English was spoken, so... More

I went to celebrate my anniversary a couple of days ago. My carpaccio was good, the tomato mousse ok. The two tagliatas (beef) were too hard and not very tasty. Vegetables ok. The wine (Ripasso) a bit too expensive (22 euros) for its average quality. Total price 80 euros. For much less we might have gone to many restaurants in... More

We were skeptical about what we'd find at the end of the winding mountain roads, but our efforts were rewarded upon arriving at Trattoria alla Ruota. Service, impeccable (not solicitious). Food, simple, elegant, reasonably priced and delicious (we were nearly full after sharing a salumi plate, but the tortelloni amarone was truly special as was the grilled game hen). Views,... More
