Nice, hot and spicy steamboat with mutton slice

We has been MinRen's supporter (especially the hot and spicy steamboat with mutton slice) since year 2008. Cold weather with hot & spicy steamboat, yummy! Be sure to reserve both the table and steamboat to avoid disappointment. Guys, no shorts and slippers please. :)

I had dinner at Chinese New Year in this restaurant. Reservation is a must for high season, authentic Xinjiang cuisine (that means no pork). If you wanna eat something different from other restaurant, this is the one. Of course that would mean pricey though, but worth a try.

The service and foods are great, with music melody to accompany you. This is a must go when you are in Genting, it is located at Genting Hotel same floor as the lobby just a 5 mins walk and its nearby Hao You Ji/好友记 or opposite the restroom. Afew of the dishes are what we will order when we visit,... More

On 27th May, I brought my family (four of us) up to Genting Highlands for the beginning of the school holidays. This restaurant requires prior reservation and requires long pants and closed shoes for men. We ordered two dishes featuring their Xinjiang lamb, skewered marinated lamb as well as lamb slices cooked with spring onions. We also ordered a hot... More

We always enjoy dinning at this restaurant. Thumbs up for the quality of food and service. Although their speciality are lamb dishes. However, our must have are the clear papaya soup, ginger rice, wasabi prawns and their clay pot dishes. For lunch they do serve a small selection of Tim sum which is yummy too. Reservation is required for small... More

Tried this restaurant on New Year's Eve and was disappointed that the food was mediocre. For the price of the dishes, it isn't worth it. Nothing fantastic to rave about. Service is good overall, but it was quite irritating when the wait staff keep coming over to check your tea cup if it needs to be refilled when you're eating.
