A Star for the price of a Bar.

First visit, great results. A ver immpressive special menu for less than 40 euros (+wine) is much more than you can expect at any One-starred Michelin place in the world. Great flavours and a solid cook with a nice and well-priced wine list. This tiny restaurant at the heart of the old coastal... read more

I don't really want to tell anyone about this gem tucked away in a street off the main drag, as I want to be sure of getting a table next time. On a mild late June evening we sat at one of a few tables outside, although there was plenty of room inside too. We chose the 'degustacion' menu, an... More

This little one star Michelin rated gem keeps getting better and better. Have been going there for the past 5 years and always pleasantly surprised by the creativity of the chef/owner Jaime Uz who keep pumping out well crafted and exquisitely well combined dishes. The tasting menu was superb and well worth the very reasonable price sticker. The service is... More

The ambiance we found likeable, comfortable in a traditional continental cafe cum restaurant way – 3 or 4 terrace table under a canopy with about 24 cover or 5 / 6 table restaurant behind. Staff are good, polite, respectful, attentive, and have adequate spoken English [a translated menu helped a lot]. We had the 11 course tasting menu. Cooking is... More

We visited this restaurant on a rainy evening on the basis of previous reviews. It was everything we expected, a charming little place beautifully located just of Ribadesella's main street. The greeting was warm and friendly and this style of service continued throughout the evening from the two young waiter and waitress. We took the top-of-the-range "Un Paseo por el... More

Looks like this place gained a Michelin star as I expected. However visiting the restaurant again I think things have changed. Still good (and now costs a lot more) but I felt that there was over-use of expensive ingredients and the flavours were not as well thought out to permeate through the whole meal though still good of course. Jaime... More

Amazing 6 course tasting menu (plus entree), with incredible seafood at it's heart. Brilliantly fresh prepared crab with cockles & mussels, prawn fritters with caviar, squid slow cooked in it's ink, seafood risotto, perfect white fish (hake we think!) in a delicate lemon grass sauce, duck with 3 sauces - orange, fig and pineapple, macerated strawberries, caramel and toffee confection.... Tucked away in a small ribadesella street, this cozy restaurant delivers good service and an imaginative menu amongst the towns more traditional restaurants.

This restaurant is well worth searching out. The food is top quality and the service is too. We chose the set tasting menu (35 Euros) and treated ourselves to the wine pairing (15 Euros) and were well pleased with both. All the dishes were very tasty - the main fish course was superb - and the wines were well matched.... More

What a find! Hidden in one of the narrow streets in Ribadesella is this wonderful restaurant. The degustation menu was our choice. The flavours were amazing and the presentation of each dish a work of art. Jaime Uz is a truly talented chef. The service was impeccable and the price very reasonable for a Michelin star restaurant.
