Great tapas place...

We were waiting at the door when the restaurant opened at 20:00. There is very little seating so we wanted to make sure and get a table for our party of 6. We tried many different tapas. Salmon canapés, montaditos, sheep cheese, pinchitos with chicken and pork, tomato salad and more. We ate... read more

We were very hungry and looking for a decent place to eat at good prices. To my surprise, food was excellent, tasty and came very quickly even if it was very full. We did not know what to order but we just asked the host to give us food and they delivered perfectly. Would go there again, it was a... More

We ate here for lunch, and arrived soon after it had opened. Thank goodness we did, as this place fills up fast! It's hugely popular with the locals, who bring a buzzing vibe to it. We were a group of 7 Brits, 3 of whom live fairly local to the restaurant. It has a welcoming look on the outside and... More

I'm living in La Linea and this is the best tapas place inmho. I'd recommend their roscas, very tasty.

I am from Spain and I have tried several places in La Linea and this is by far the best place. All the "ibéricos" and the way the cook it is great.

Recently stayed in Gibraltar. Popped to LA Chimenea following recommendation. Very busy, managed to get a table although a lot of people eat standing at the bar. One girl does speak some English so between her and their English menu we managed to order food. This was tasty, surprisingly filling and very good value. I would definitely go again on... More

I ate a couple of times in this restaurant but it is not very special. At the end we paid 55 for 3 people and we were still hungry. It was not bad but there are better places in la linea to go to. Salitre for Example.

I don't understand what's the fuss with this restaurant. I've been there, indeed the food is really tasty but everything comes along in sandwich form and generally with a lot of bread. It is not my type of food and i find it a bit too chewy. I recommend it though if you love sandwiches so much because is good... More

Stopped here for lunch around 2pm, it opens at 1pm. It's a small tapas restaurant that seats around 20 to 30 people and is about a 15 minute walk from the border. Not many staff speak English but there's an English version of the menu and the staff do their best to help. We also found that the locals are... More

Spent a week in Gibraltar, and went here on a Saturday night. We had had a drink in one of the town squares before going here for 8 pm when it opens. We were second in line, so we got 4 seats at the bar near the grill end, we did the whole range of tapas all was very good.... More
