The motto of the restaurant is something like "if it swims in the sea we have it". Certainly the huge display of live seafood in tanks is well worth a look in its own right. On the night we were there the restaurant was packed - mostly with local people and not tourists. It is possible to run up a... More

We came here for dinner tonight as it is just down the road from our hotel, and I fancied some freshly steamed fish. You will not be disappointed by the collection of fresh fish and shellfish that's available, from live golden pomfret to exotic geoduck clams ( Chinese translation is elephant trunk clams one of my favourite). We ordered a... More

This place has one of the better seafood fare I have seen. They have a variety that I have not seen in other seafood restaurants. But to experience a gastronomical delight in that scope does not come cheap. seldom find locals here except when they have to bring their guests or a family function/event. Be prepared to pay and good... More

Bali Hai is popular for business traveller. Location in Gurney Drive and live seafood in aquarium are big advantage. However, the taste is average and food is overpriced.

We were recommended this restaurant by the Hotel Penenga to be excellent and not expensive. So we decided to give it a go, we got a table straight away and given the menu, beware, the prices are not an accurate reflection when the actual bill arrives at the end. Most of staff appear to speak and understand very little English,... More

We may have just been unlucky enough to get our waitress on a bad night, but her rude, abrupt attitude did a fairly good job of spoiling what would have otherwise been a lovely night. She rushed and hassled us before, during and after our meal. For the money it costs (not at all cheap by Malaysian or even Western... More

First of all you can see the fish before being cooked, steamed, grilled,or eaten Raw. Fantastic variety or fish displayed like in a fish market. Lobsters,King prawns, clams, oysters, whatever you want you l find here at a very good price.

The fish is very fresh and also the soup is delicious. But traffic very jam at public holiday , better parking far a little and use your legs to walk cause all the restaurant is joining together.
