Authentic Shanghai cuisine. Their signature dumpling (xiao long pau) is a must try dish. And also they are famous for 'la mian', you can watch how the chef make the noodle.

The service is really fast, the food is delicious (especially Xia Long Bao). It's on the pricey side for Chinese food but to me its really worth it.

Good food at good prices. But only 1 type of beer. Service was good. They also take Amex credit card.

The food tastes ok but the price is expensive. The food comes with a small portion. If u r a big eater, u probably have to order 3 times the food

I went in for lunch with family, we ordered heaps of food to share, most of the food are delicious, but the service was a bit slow, they did stuff up a few times with our orders which was not impressive at all. With the amount of staff they had, they should be able to handle large volume of customers... More

I was introduced to this restaurant by a colleague of mine from Penang who frequents this place -- so I truly enjoyed it because she knew what were the good dishes. We had the dumplings - xiao long bao -- and the egg custard bun that was really delicious. So on the next trip to Penang, I went back with... More

Dragon-i is located in the middle of Gurney Plaza, so inevitably the atmosphere is that of a shopping mall and not of a charming traditional establishment, which some people in my group found awkward. But the food is terrific! I was there with my Chinese relatives who live in Penang and know the city and its food inside and out,... More

This is one of my family restaurant. We go there regularly for xiao long bao and noodle. Location at the shopping centers also an advantage. Living in Perai, I hope they will open a restaurant in mainland soon.

You should try the dumpling and Ramen is really Good and the quality is consistent as the Cititel Mid Valley in KL. For other dishes, the taste and cook just average and sometime even stall/hawker style taste better. I'd recommend to try only dumpling and Ramen though it is a little bit more pricey.

Here you can watch noodles and wanton dumplings being made whilst waiting to be seated. A very popular place, it provides a wide variety of dishes at a reasonable price. It can get very busy, so try not to go at peak times. We booked for Christmas Eve and still had to wait more than 30 minutes to be seated... More
