Had dinner here one evening, great location on the marina next the boats, fab for sun downers watching the sunset, service a bit slow, but it was busy, food typical greek taverna fare, actually the fresh sardines were amazing, well presented and excellent quality and really excellent value.

Ate here repeatedly. Everything we tried was delicious: sausages, grilled feta, lamb, dorado fish, fries. None of us were ever disappointed. And believe me, we are critical.

This was our favourite restaurant in the Marina- beautiful view, excellent food and calm service and atmosphere. The traditional Greek dishes were mouth-watering! We were pleasantly surprised with the prices- very good value for money. A lovely place to eat.

Go for the traditional dishes on the menu, such as kleftico, moussaka etc. Tastes of Mama's home cooking: carefully prepared, well presented and excellent value. For us, after several months in Greece, this stood out as a bit special. Nice setting in Gouvia Marina with efficient and discreet service.

Beautiful setting on the marina in Gouvia. Mussels were cooked to perfection and steak was gorgeous!

We visited this restaurant during our stay in Gouvia. The food was lovely as was the retsina. The staff were friendly and attentive. I would recommend a visit.

I always recommend this place to visitors and locals for a taste of traditional greek cuisine at its best. As a Greek girl, I have tried many versions of the 'kleftiko' over the years- slowly cooked lamb with herbs. The kleftiko at Argo is by far my favourite- juicy, cooked with lots of rosemary and topped with feta...heaven on plate!... More

Restaurant Argo has a big covered terrace with a nice view at the harbor were you can watch the sunset. We had a tasty Tzaziki as starter and as main course a delicious Sofrito (stewed veal in a wine and carlic sauce) with tasteful homemade fries. The service form the male waiter was friendly, but the young woman was very... More

Despite being a fish restaurant there was little choice. The kalamari was tasteless & unappealing. Presentation poor.
