The most awesome, superb and delicious Tibetan food everrr!!! The restaurant has no closing time, it shuts when "as soon as we run out of supplies" ...which means, some days it'll be shut as early as 7.30 pm... We tried quite a few dishes, along with the set veg and non-veg menus, and were pleasantly surprised. The fermented veggies may... More

Excellent food!! The owner of the restaurant personally took our order and suggested us what to order. All the dishes were very tasty and cooked to perfection. We especially loved the Bhutanese Dachi and steamed momos!

Tsherin was a fantastic host recommending the right dishes and explaining the food along. Surprisingly reasonably priced. Ended up eating twice during a short stay. The portions are very decent and worth exploring. Highly recommended. Place is small though with four tables and 16 covers. Everything on the menu is recommended. However, be prepared to taste string flavors that you... More

Twas late at night at around 9:00 pm when there were three of us friends. One of my friends already had her experiences with the cuisines there and I salivated (literally) when a rich kinema smell entered my nose. By the way, twas November 2013.The manager-cum-owner is a respectable man with a great taste in food and he really warms... More

A restaurant should serve good food with service and availability. On my first visit I was searching for the place and found after a double take on the small sign board. Looked up to find it closed.

We were attended by the owner of the restaurant. Food was different, but good, served in traditional wooden vessels.

I so much wanted to taste food at this place due to amazing tripadvisor ratings. But couldn't as it was closed on both Saturday and Sunday. Hence foodies wanting to visit this place, make adjustments in your plans accordingly

If you want to try some local cuisine, this is the place to be in. The owner will guide you to place the order. Further, he will explain you as to how you should eat it. The fragmented Soya and the Thukpa is good to taste. The Spinach soup is simply awesome to start with. The butter and the chicken... More

This is a small li'l place on the lall bazaar Marg of Gangtok. Little difficult to find due to its small name board. The place is small and cozy and serves traditional Sikkimese, Nepali and Tibetian cuisine. We ordered a NAtive Sikkimese meal with pork. It came with rice, fermented spinach clear soup, cow ghee with cheese, fermented soyabean and... More

Not a very comfortable entrance but the restaurant is warm and cosy with friendly service. We tried Sikkimese set meal with rice, a soup and few side dishes and condiments like fermented soya bean curry, a local cheese and egg dip/ sauce, curried pork and local salad. The food tasted authentic and home made and also non oily. Very different... More
