Whenever I needed a healthy pick-me-up I would head to Smile for their fresh spring rolls and fresh coconut water (juice). The staff are friendly and the outside dining area is very chilled which all added to the relaxed atmosphere. Due to the operation of the restaurant as a training facility, you do need to be aware that the food... More

I love visiting a restaurant where the staff do everything with a smile on their faces. Not only do you feeling welcome but it provides a pleasant atmosphere in an already laid back town... The food indeed is very good. Definitely go for the Khmer dishes although I'm sure the Western food is good too. On the wall, pictures /... More

We're surprised no one has mentioned Smile's freshly baked baguette yet. Its coconut scent is out of this world and, even now back in civilisation, our stomachs still crave Smile's version of the French bread. We even saw one farang buying a few for takeaway. Because we only had breakfast there, we couldn't comment much on the overall quality of... More

Good range of local and western food options. Easily located across from the Mekong river. Affordable prices (US$2-5) a meal. Friendly staff, limited English but eager to provide fabulous service.

Encouraged by the reviews on Trip Advisor and, when standing in front of the restaurant, by the looks and the menu we decided to go for dinner at the Smile Restaurant. We (family of 5) ordered for each of us a starter and a main course. The fresh spring rolls on the menu were unfortunately not available. The first dish... More

The food was really good and the proceeds go to help disadvantaged youth. We went back a few times. The service was good and you can also swap books you have read for others they have there.

- Good beef lok lak & fish and chips - Kind staff The only downside was the fact there where bugs everywhere in the evening: they constantly flew into our plate (and thus food) which wasn't all that pleasant. Maybe better to visit during the daytime. Never had this happening before.

You can eat well and do the right thing by helping young people get a start in the hospitality industry. This business is a training restaurant for the disadvantaged. It is run by the local Buddhist fellowship. Get behind it. It's right on the waterfront farther eat away from the bridge.
