We went here for supper as it was on the main drag, we had plans for that night and needed to refuel before going to get ready at the hotel. We had walked past on a few occasions noticing the open grill cooking, which is always a positive sign so decided to give it a go. I had a lasagne... More

Playa d'en Bossa's food is, simply put, bad. I'd plan to eat somewhere else if possible but if you're set on eating in the area, Moorea is the lesser of many evils. We ended up eating here twice for convenience's sake and I'd say 2/4 dishes were decent, 1 was meh, and 1 was poor. We also kept trying to... More

Had 2 excellent meals here. Service was very good, staff very friendly. Extremely good value. We had spaghetti bolognese and lasagne the first night and fillet steaks the second night. Nice wine and very reasonable. We didn't have a dessert as we were too full. We sat in the pavement bar/grill as didn't realise they had a beach bar. Really... More

Had a couple of meals here and kept going back, very friendly, good food, open bbq/fire pit, meat was excellent. Good value and the wine was good. Well done.

We visited here for a quick meal prior to going out for the evening. There is an outside grill where they cook the meats so this looked quite appetising and the food in fact was very tasty. Nothing fancy but we enjoyed our meal of chicken kebabs, and had a couple of drinks. The service is not particularly friendly and... More

Went to Moorea in August of 2013. Chose a lobster from the tank based upon its fighting ability and casual attitude towards the other lobsters. It transpired that this was in actual fact Gary the lobster who was a football hooligan from Aberdeen. Gary then kicked off in the restaurant and was asked to leave by staff. When returned home... The outside grill is really inviting, food is good and priced very reasonably. If you're looking for a quick bite and nothing too fancy then this is ideal.

Our experience at this restaurant would have been so much better if the service had been more friendly. The male waiters were particularly unfriendly and this ruined the evening. Our food was just ok- I had a meat pizza which was quite tasteless and my sister's chicken kebab was average. The cava sangria was quite weak. We had lunch at... More

This is my first and only choice for food in Playa Den Bossa. Located in the Jet Apartments complex, with patio seating, the food is excellent. The barbecue is always going and the choice and selection is varied. Cold Gaspacho, Avacado con Mexicana, Lamb Chops, Paella, salads chicken, just an amazing assortment of dishes, cooked fresh and served perfectly by... More
