The restaurant we wanted to go to was closed that day, but people in the area suggested Real San Pedro, and we were glad they did. The menu was had many choices, the quality of food served was great, and the atmosphere was excellent. The restaurant is located on Calle Juarez a short distance from the very center of Tlaquepaque.... More

This was a great restaurant recommended by a local from GDL to us when we told her we'd be visiting Tlaquepaque. My boyfriend's lunch, coconut shrimp, was delicious! However, I got an entree of fish in a gray, gelatinous sauce that was incredibly unpleasant. The food was also pretty pricey! Partly because I don't speak Spanish and partly because I... More

I reviewed this restaurant in January of 2012 and thought we would try it again. If our memories were correct from two years ago, it seemed that the food had improved since the individual entrees had a more complex flavor. Definitely a recommended restaurant in Tlaquepaque!

The Real San Pedro, located in the heart of Tlaquepaque on Independencia, offers courtyard tables and an indoor section looking onto the pedestrian street. Our mid day brunch was excellent and matched by professional service. I recommend the Colung Salad, a tower of tomato and goat cheese on a bed of brilliant green spinach with drops of mustard and pine... More

We decided to to have lunch after seeing the reviews. We absolutely loved it! The place is super inviting as you are surrounded by a tranquile atmosphere. Service Is amazing and gentle. We tried the mole with blackberry paired with a Grenache and sirah Mexican wine. Absolutely delicious. Such a wonderful experience. A must whistl visiting Tlaquepaque.

I love the real San Pedro for it's ambiance, always good service, and food that is nicely prepared and tasty. Great place for quiet late p.m. lunch.

Not always can you find the perfect surrounding and good food in the same place. Here, you can try Mexican dishes as they should be presented, sophisticated and well prepared along with the peculiar atmosphere of a central patio. Enjoy it!

Best sopa de azteca ever. Also, the camirones with tamirand sauce was perfect. The atmosphere and service was inviting. We wanted to stay and drink our beers forever. We left very happy. Estabamos contentos. Nos gustaria regresar pronto.

We had our Thanksgiving dinner here and everyone enjoyed it. I had the whole chicken with mushrooms and my husband had the chicken mole. My sister and her husband had the chillies in nogada which were excellent.
