From Menudo to scrambled eggs

They have Everything. From Menudo to scrambled eggs, you can have all mexican food here. And, what´s better, they are very careful that all the food is clean, safe and fresh. Coffee is excellent (it is mixed with cinnamon). Is a traditional restaurant located in downtown Tlaquepaque. If you are... read more

I had a late lunch at El Patio. I sat in the courtyard, unbeknownst to me, I chose a table right in the middle of the upcoming performance. I drank my Modelo surrounded by a fabulous female Mariachi band who were accompanied by 4 dancers. The mood was joyous and happy, with the performers and most of the crowd smiling... More

This was not our original choice, but it did have and appealing entrance. We arrived after a long day, tired and hungry. There was no one at the desk to greet us, waited for a few minutes were seated and it was then that I checked the tripadvisor reviews! I was surprised To read most people where very happy with... My husband came in on the recommendation from the English speaking store tender next door. So nice! The waiters communicated with us in English, there was live music in spanish and English sandwiched by a feminine mariachi group which toured around the patio. We had such a nice time we stayed through 3 rounds of extra drinks and delayed plans... More

It's a gorgeous place in a beautiful town. The atmosphere is amazing in a nice patio outside. The food is good but very simple. It's on the pricey side for such simple food but a very good experience. They will get you a flag for the country you are from and put it on the table. Cute. Get the Chicken... More

Extremely pleasant service and tasty food. Not the bargain it once was but still an ideal way to pass time while listing to (usually live) music and dining well. Lots of well prepared Mexican specialties.

I don't think I have ever been in a happier place. The atmosphere is so joyful. I was delighted to see the staff having a good time serving us and making sure we had everything as we ordered. The food was good and plentiful. It really picked up my day to watch a group of ladies celebrating a birthday and... More

Their margaritas are great, the had live Mariachi music and folkloric dancers. The restaurant is a beautifully decorated patio with tons of room/tables for just the single traveler or for a group of 10 or more. They also have a sculptor creating pieces add you eat and you can purchase any item he creates. You will enjoy the place and... More

We dropped in at 3 pm for just a beer and margarita. We were blessed with a fantastic ALL WOMAN mariachi band. It was made up of ten women with guitars, violins, trumpets and bass with two great singers. Then we stayed for dinner and my wife had the Chili Nogata and I had the Birrea Stew.

Enjoy a snack/lunch here two of our three days in the area. They have an all female Mariachi band that plays each day at 3. The food is good although a bit on the pricey side but with the entertainment it is great.
