And that is a rule! We stopped one day for their famous 2/1 margaritas and another day for same with lunch. We enjoy seeing staff who have been there since our very first visit and being recognized by same. The food is somewhat average but is always consistent in presentation and preparation!

I have in Guadalajara Centro for just on 3 weeks (i am doing a Spanish course) and a visit to Tlaquepaque is a great day out for all reasons given below. Yes, it is a bit touristy but nothing wrong with that. The Mexicans enjoy it as much as those from overseas. I did however hear more English in the... More

If you've never been to Tlaquepaque, you owe it to yourself to visit this little village of upscale artisans. And while you're there, try this great restaurant for one of the most enjoyable dining experiences in the Guadalajara area. Try to arrive before 3 pm to get a table for the first Mariachi show at 3:30, featuring an all-female group,... More

It`s not necessarily one of the best meals, but is very good. They have mexican as well as international food. And the beautiful old house where is placed, the ambiance, the patio, and the live music contribute to have a wonderful time. The service is also good too. I recommend it and would like to go back.

El Patio. It is always full, mostly Mexicans, which... More

Juan Antonio and Rafael are wonderful servers. We overpaid and excess $ returned. Food was excellent. Women mariachias fascinating. Quesadillas superb.

We love going to Talaquepaque area of Guadalajara. We have been to El Patio at least a half a dozen times. It is worth a one time visit for lunch as it is very pretty. However, I live in Mexico and find the food expensive for the area and nothing special. If you want to see the female mariachis they... More

We ate here for dinner and had fish which was terribly dry and chewy. It was a nice atmosphere and the staff were very nice. Pity about the food.
