This was my first time here but it was memorable. After wandering the area and the zocalo and shops on a busy "family-day Sunday," I went to El Patio to catch the mariachis at 3pm. As others have said, Las Morenas is a predominately female mariachi group (7 women and one man). An unexpected treat! The menu here is very... More

Have eaten at El Patio a few times. Food has always been very good & wonderful service. The music performed by the "all girl"band in the afternoon is an added bonus.

Came reluctantly with friends after not liking my meal a couple of years ago. The ambience is terrific but the food is not. We had the pork special sandwich it was not good at all. Very doughy and very little porky drinks order was wrong too.

Took my out of town friend here for dinner. The staff are super pleasant, but the meal was just mediocre. The chips on the table were chewy rather than crispy. The music was too loud. We both ordered the enchiladas--one order of pure cheese and the other order of half chicken/half cheese. They messed up the order and brought pure... More

This restaurant is a classic in Tlaquepaque. It has been around since like 20 years and is famous for feminine mariachi band. Meals are great, as well as the atmosphere. They feature mexican meals, good selection of drinks and also WiFi ;-).

And that is a rule! We stopped one day for their famous 2/1 margaritas and another day for same with lunch. We enjoy seeing staff who have been there since our very first visit and being recognized by same. The food is somewhat average but is always consistent in presentation and preparation!

I have in Guadalajara Centro for just on 3 weeks (i am doing a Spanish course) and a visit to Tlaquepaque is a great day out for all reasons given below. Yes, it is a bit touristy but nothing wrong with that. The Mexicans enjoy it as much as those from overseas. I did however hear more English in the... More

If you've never been to Tlaquepaque, you owe it to yourself to visit this little village of upscale artisans. And while you're there, try this great restaurant for one of the most enjoyable dining experiences in the Guadalajara area. Try to arrive before 3 pm to get a table for the first Mariachi show at 3:30, featuring an all-female group,... More

It`s not necessarily one of the best meals, but is very good. They have mexican as well as international food. And the beautiful old house where is placed, the ambiance, the patio, and the live music contribute to have a wonderful time. The service is also good too. I recommend it and would like to go back.
