Nice place, great ambient but the food are not the best example of the real great mexican food flavor.
The place is amazing and every day from 2 to 5 they have a Mariachi as well as a couple of traditional dancers, after that show ends they have what's is called "trova" really lovely, and the atmosphere is incredible, everyone having a great family time, I recommend the "virria" as well as the "tuetanos" and "la cazuela" this last... Of being our "go to" spot in Tlaquepaque! We have finally come to the conclusion that we enjoy El Patio for lunch or a mid afternoon snack and GREAT margaritas! We really appreciate seeing many of the same staff from trip to trip with them recognizing us each time. While the food is slightly above average, it is the overall... More

The food was delicious, we had the tortas ahogadas and a tequila drink that they served in a casserole (I think it was called casuela) that was full of fruity tasty yummy. We just ordered 3 appetizers and that was plenty of food.
Charming ambiance, excellent service, really good food, convenient location, great prices. We went twice. I highly recommend the Pollo Ixtlan.
Great patio, food and music! We enjoy eating there and love the mariachi music. Authentic traditional Mexican food.
We went here only to listen to the ladies with the mariachi band but we sat for almost 20 minutes and no one came to take our drink order. The staff was very disorganized, the food was bad.

We arrived as they were ending the breakfast buffet (12:30 p.m.) so it took a while to be recognized by a waiter. Since I'm lactose intolerant I asked how the horchata was made. He explained it was coconut milk. It arrived... More

The waiter, Miguel, was wonderful - we have two vegetarians in our group and he knew the ingredients of everything. The food was excellent and we were already giving it two thumbs up when suddenly...
